The {3-Hearts} river completed the board. Gee threw in another bet. The big blind called but the button folded. Gee showed {k-Diamonds}{k-Spades} to rake in the pot.

The turn brought a {j-Clubs} and only Ross check-called another bet from the button player. The river fell a {3-Hearts} and this time Ross check-folded after his opponent made a last bet.

2015 WSOP Main Event champion and two-time bracelet winner Joe McKeehen has taken a seat early in the event. McKeehen has $10,821,380 in total earnings at the WSOP.

He has three cashes this summer and finished third in two events: Event #3: $3,000 No-Limit Hold'em Shootout for $101,766 and Event #21: $1,500 No-Limit Millionaire Maker for $538,276. McKeehen will be looking to add another bracelet to his collection.

Welcome to Day 1 of Event #70: $3,000 Limit Hold'em 6-Handed. This is a three-day event. The defending champion in this event is Max Silver who pocketed $172,645 and a gold bracelet for his win last year. Silver has $1,524,097 in live cashes at the WSOP, including one cash this summer.

Players begin with 15,000 chips and will battle it out for 10 60-minute levels. There will be a 15-minute break every two levels. Late registration will close before the start of Level 9 at approximately 12:00 a.m.
