All the chips were put in the middle on a flop of {k-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{5-Clubs} and Ray Qartomy found himself in an optimal position as he was holding {k-Spades}{k-Hearts} for top set, his opponent tabled {a-Hearts}{a-Spades} for a pair of aces.

The board ran out dry with a {6-Diamonds} on the turn and {3-Diamonds} on the river. Qartomy took down the pot and moved back up near the top of the leaderboard.

Richard Dixon in a previous event
Richard Dixon in a previous event

Richard Dixon has about 220,000 chips left and that is slightly below the average stack, which is 280,000 right now.

Dixon is all but unfamiliar with running deep in The Little One for One Drop. Last year he ended up taking fifth in this exact tournament and right now he's still in the running to make another deep run in the same tournament.

Mernin Raises and Shows

Nível 19 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

The flop was showing {j-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{9-Spades}, Lucas Mernin bet 27,000 into a pot around 45,000 and the big blind called. The turn fell the {2-Clubs}, Mernin checked this time and his opponent put in a bet of 25,000.

Mernin check-raised to 80,000 and after several minutes of thought, his opponent folded. Mernin turned over {10-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} for nothing but a bluff, but enough to take down the pot and put some smiles on the faces of his tablemates.
