Pierre Calamusa made the call the action came back to Conrad who raised it to 1,700. Only Calamusa made the call and the turn brought a {q-Diamonds}. Conrad continued for 2,500 and Calamusa called once more.

The river fell a {4-Spades} and Conrad first checked, then faced a bet worth 8,000 from Calamusa, putting his tournament at risk. After some thinking, he ended up mucking his hand, showing {a-}{10-} and Calamusa grabbed the pot, saying he held {q-Spades}{j-Spades} for the flush.
