Quad Aces for Hall

Nível 21 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante
Galen Hall
Galen Hall

Galen Hall has just earned a knockout in very convincing fashion after he hit quad aces.

The button moved all in, and Hall put his opponent's tournament life at risk by calling.

The board came down {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{a-Clubs}{4-Clubs}. Hall held {a-Hearts}{7-Hearts} and not only did he flop the full house, he improved to quads on the turn to eliminate his opponent and move his stack up to 280,000 in the process.

Sleeth Busts Two in Massive Pot

Nível 20 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

We didn't catch the action before all the chips went in, but Ashley Sleeth scooped a massive pot to give herself a gigantic boost up the chip counts.

Sleeth and Michael Tureniec and a third player in the hand was at risk but didn't have the best hand going in.

Ashley Sleeth: {a-}{q-}
Michael Tureniec: {k-}{10-}
Opponent: {a-}{k-}

Sleeth was fortunate enough to spike a queen on the board and busted both players from the event.

Nível 20 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

The action folded around to Mitchell Watson on the button, and he moved all in for 45,000. Viktoria Lucenkova raised from the small blind, and Andy Wilson folded in the big blind.

Mitchell Watson: {j-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}
Viktoria Lucenkova: {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}

Board: {j-Hearts}{k-Hearts}{4-Spades}{9-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}

Both players hit a pair on the flop, and Lucenkova held her lead until the river brought the seven of diamonds and Watson improved to two pair to secure a vital double to remain in the tournament.
