Cheong Wins Without a Showdown

A player opened to 1,050, called by the small blind player and Joseph Cheong in the big blind player The flop came {10-Clubs}{3-Spades}{2-Clubs} and after a check, Cheong bet 950 and the two other players made the call.

The turn was the {5-Clubs} and all the players checked to see the {k-Diamonds} on the river. The small blind player, as well as Cheong, checked and the initial raiser fired 2,300. The action folded back to Cheong who quickly called and saw an instant muck from his opponent. Cheong grabbed the pot without showing his cards.

A first player opened to 1,100 and Aaron Massey raised it to 3,600 from the button. The flop came {k-Spades}{10-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} and after his opponent checked, Massey continued for 3,200. The first player mucked his hand and Massey added the chips to his stack.

"Karmatckii raised from under-the-gun and I three-bet. He four-bet and I shoved. He called with queens. I had tens and the ten came on the flop!"

Wien Doesn't Win

Jeremy Wien raised to 1,025 from late position and was only called by the player in the big blind.

They both checked through the {q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} flop and the {10-Spades} on the turn to the {3-Diamonds} on the river. The player in the big blind bet 1,500 and Wien called. Wien's opponent tabled {q-Hearts}{7-Spades} for two pair, queens and tens, and that was enough to take the pot down.

On a raised pot, the board was reading {q-Hearts}{5-Spades}{7-Hearts}{3-Hearts} and three players were involved in the hand. The player in the small blind checked and the big blind player bet 2,225. Only Wilkerson in the cutoff position made the call.

The turn was a {j-Spades} and the initial raiser continued for 5,175. Wilkerson quickly folded his hand. The owner of two WSOP Circuit rings still has a comfortable stack worth 50,000.
