Reilly Puts Pressure

Nível 13 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

The player in the hijack opened to 3,000 and Tim Reilly in big blind raised it to 12,000. His opponent called and the dealer revealed the {8-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} flop. Reilly bet 8,500 and his opponent called once more.

The turn was the {10-Clubs} and both players checked. On the {5-Hearts} river, Reilly announced he was all in, putting his opponent's tournament at risk as the bubble approaches. After a few minutes, the latter ended up folding and Reilly is now up to a stack worth 100,000.

Hallaert Keeps Building

Nível 13 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

The board was showing {6-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}{j-Clubs} and 13,000 was already in the middle. Kenny Hallaert in the small blind checked and his opponent bet 6,500 from the hijack position. Hallaert made the call.

The river was a {q-Spades} and Hallaert check-called once more, this time for 20,000. He revealed {6-Clubs}{4-Spades} for two pair, good enough to earn him the pot.

Rodriguez Eliminates Heroux in 200K Pot

Nível 13 : 800/1,600, 200 ante
Maxime Heroux
Maxime Heroux

Walter Rodriguez opened the action from the cutoff with a raise and called after Maxime Heroux three-bet from the button. The flop came {8-Clubs}{a-Clubs}{q-Clubs}, and Rodriguez check-raised Heroux's 7,500 continuation bet to 25,000. Heroux gave himself some time to think, but before long he announced all in.

Rodriguez was unsure on his next move. He got the bet verified at 74,200 before counting his chips quickly to see he only just had Heroux covered. But he did make the call and threw one single chip into the middle.

Maxime Heroux: {j-Clubs}{10-Spades}
Walter Rodriguez: {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts}

Turn: {5-Spades}
River: {7-Spades}

Rodriguez had top two pair, but Heroux had a lot of outs with flush and straight draws. Ultimately the board bricked for Heroux, however, and Rodriguez moved up to 200,000 in chips while Heroux exited just short of the money.

Neuville Adds to his Stack

Nível 12 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

On a board showing {4-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{k-Spades}, Pierre Neuville bet 10,000 and after some consideration his opponent made the call.

Neuville tabled {7-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} and it was enough to make his opponent toss his hand into the muck. The Belgian player now has 56,000.
