WSOP All Time Poker Players Championship Results by Player

Nível 9 : 5,000/10,000, 0 ante

The Poker Players Championship is one of the most prestigious events around the world, and some of the best players have made their mark in this event.

Michael Mizrachi and Brian Rast are the only two players to have won this event twice, and consequently they sit first and second on the all time list for Poker Players Championship earnings. Freddy Deeb sits third on the back of winning the Poker Players Championship with the biggest first prize.

The only two players in the top 10 that haven't won a Poker Players Championship is Andy Bloch and John Hanson. Bloch took second back in 2005 to David "Chip" Reese while also adding a further three cashes and one final table. Hanson sits ninth overall on the back of two final tables and two cashes.

Bellande Makes Monster Fold to Schulman

Jean-Robert Bellande

Pot-Limit Omaha

Nick Schulman raised to 6,000 from under the gun, and Jean-Robert Bellande called in the big blind to see a {A-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}{8-Hearts} flop.

Both players committed 4,500 as the turn landed the {10-Diamonds} and action checked through.

The river landed the {J-Hearts}, and after a Bellande check, Schulman bet the pot of 22,200.

Bellande responded with a check-raise to 76,000, and Schulman countered with a three-bet to 225,000.

A shocked Bellande shot to his feet as he deliberated over his decision.

"It is impossible that you would re-raise me without the ace of hearts in your hand!" announced Bellande.

"I have the ace of hearts, so what are you doing?" Bellande continued.

"I've got it! He's doing it with the nine of hearts blocker!" Bellande concluded.

Bellande then showed his hand, which turned out to be {A-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} for the ace-high flush.

As a crowd of players had gathered to see the final result as break had already began, Bellande continue to mull over his decision before he decided upon a fold, and then a quick exit from the tournament area.

Schulman pump-faked showing his hand before he quickly mucked them.

No-Limit Hold'em

Greg Mueller raised to 6,500 from the button, Ben Lamb three-bet to 20,200 from the small blind, and Mueller called.

They checked to the turn of a {2-Hearts}{A-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} board where Lamb bet 15,000. Mueller called, the {2-Spades} river completed the board, and Lamb bet 54,000.

Mueller mulled it over for a bit before flashing {Q-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds} to the table and folding.
