Trudeau First to Advance

Nível 21 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante
Jeffrey Trudeau
Jeffrey Trudeau

The board read {9-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{a-Hearts}{5-Spades}{10-Spades} and Mao Qiu bet 60,000 into a pot around 90,000. Jeffrey Trudeau then moved all in for 235,000 and enough to cover Qiu.

After several minutes of thought, Qiu made the call and Trudeau then tabled {10-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} for a rivered full house. Qiu shook his head and showed {9-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} for a smaller full house.

Trudeau is now the first to move onto the Day 3 and will be looking to capture his first WSOP bracelet.

Cada Doubles Through Ruge Before Break

Nível 21 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante
Joe Cada
Joe Cada

Just before the break, Joe Cada completed his small blind. Arne Ruge raised to 9,000 in the big blind and Cada called.

The flop came {K-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}, Cada checked, Ruge bet 9,000. Cada raised to 33,300 and Ruge pondered his options. Ruge shoved with the bigger stack and Cada snap-called.

Joe Cada: {A-Clubs}{6-Clubs}
Arne Ruge: {8-Clubs}{5-Clubs}

They both had a flush draw with Cada also having a pair of sixes and the upper-hand with the higher club cards. Ruge also had a gut-shot straight draw.

The rest of the board was completed with the {6-Hearts} on the turn to give Cada trip sixes and the {a-Diamonds} on the river completed the story for Cada as he made it a full house in the end. After counting out the stacks, Cada had 121,200 in total, which meant that Ruge was back to just below a ton.

D'Ambrosio and Pantaleo Both Out

Nível 20 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

Frank Williams raised to 5,500 from the button, Jimmy D'Ambrosio shoved all in for 19,800 in total from the small blind. Williams considered his options and then reluctantly called.

Jimmy D'Ambrosio: {K-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}
Frank Williams: {10-Clubs}{8-Hearts}

The board ran out {7-Clubs}{a-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{k-Clubs} - Williams hit a runner-runner straight to eliminate D'Ambrosio.

"That was a fun sweat!" D'Ambrosio said, not realizing he had lost the hand. "Oh my god, I didn't see the ten" he exclaimed when the fact he had lost was pointed out to him.
