Ludlow Runs Into a Flush

Nível 12 : 600/1,200, 200 ante
Benjamin Ludlow (from Event #12)
Benjamin Ludlow (from Event #12)

Facing a hijack raise to 2,600, Ben Ludlow called on the button, as did the big blind.

The flop landed {J-Spades}{9-Hearts}{2-Clubs} and action checked to the initial raiser who bet 4,000. Ludlow called, and the big blind folded as the turn landed the {A-Hearts}.

Both players checked, and the river landed the {8-Hearts}.

The initial raiser bet out 12,000 and Ludlow made the call. Ludlow's opponent tabled his {K-Hearts}{6-Hearts} for a flush, and Ludlow flashed his {A-}{J-} and mucked.

Gazaev Shoves Dark on the River

Nível 12 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

Michael Finstein raised to 2,500 from middle position and Anthanasios Polychronopoulos called from the button. Ruslan Gazaev called from the small blind as well, as did Daniel Smilijkovic called from the big blind.

They went four-handed to the {8-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{4-Spades} flop and Gazaev led out with a bet of 3,800. Smilijkovic folded, and Finstein and Polychronopoulos both called. The turn was the {4-Diamonds} and Gazaev fired out a bet of 4,700. Both players called again, and before the river card was dealt Gazaev moved all in for his last 28,000.

The {a-Spades} completed the board and both of Gazaev's opponents quickly folded, earning Gazaev the pot.

Shaun Deeb Felted

Nível 12 : 600/1,200, 200 ante
Shaun Deeb
Shaun Deeb

The hijack opened to 2,500, James Anderson called from the cutoff, and Shaun Deeb three-bet shoved from the button for what looked like about 13,000. The original raiser folded, and after some consideration, Anderson called to put Deeb at risk.

James Anderson: {6-Spades}{6-Hearts}
Shaun Deeb: {A-Hearts}{8-Clubs}

Deeb was racing for his stack and needed to improve in order to double up. Neither player connected with the {Q-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} board, so Anderson took the pot to eliminate Deeb.
