Liebert Earns a Massive Double Through Pham

Nível 9 : 400/800, 800 ante

Action was heads-up between David Pham and Kathy Liebert. Liebert was under the gun and it appeared as if she raised and was three-bet by Pham in the blinds. Liebert then raised to what looked like 35,000 more with a bit behind. Pham was in the tank upon arrival at the table. Eventually, he decided to move all in for all of it and Liebert called off the rest

Kathy Liebert: {Q-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}
David Pham: {A-Spades}{K-Hearts}

The board ran out {J-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{10-Spades} and that kept Liebert's queen in the lead the whole way. Pham was forced to send over the chips and Liebert earned the double up to just under 100,000 chips.

Leah's Turn to Double

Nível 9 : 400/800, 800 ante

Mike Leah was down to last 10,600 and he got his chips in when he peeled {A-Hearts}{Q-Spades} in early position. He found a customer in a player on the button who had {A-Spades}{J-Hearts}.

Leah was in a favorable position and the {2-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{6-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs} runout confirmed his safe double up.

Jaka Bust

Nível 9 : 400/800, 800 ante

According to Faraz Jaka's twitter, he is no longer participating in this event.

In his tweet, he said he opened with {Q-}{Q-} and was three bet by a player in middle position. The flop came down {Q-}{9-}{8-} and all the money went in on the turn. Jaka's opponent was holding {J-}{10-} for a flopped straight and the board did not pair for Jaka, thus, he was sent to the rail.

Nitsche Never Folds

Nível 9 : 400/800, 800 ante

Dominik Nitsche made it 1,800 in early position and a round of folded followed until the player in the big blind defended, coming heads-up to the {6-Spades}{K-Spades}{2-Hearts} flop.

Nitsche fired 2,000 and his opponent was interested in peeling the turn. Then he led out 6,100 when the {3-Hearts} appeared but Nitsche threw in calling chips.

The dealer turned over the {3-Diamonds} river and Nitsche faced a bet of 11,500. He studied the board for a minute, contemplating whether to call or fold. He eventually selected the first option and got rewarded as his opponent showed {9-Spades}{7-Spades} for a busted flush draw. Nitsche turned over {A-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} and scooped the pot thanks to his successful bluff catch.

"You never fold!" his opponent laughed.

Spinella Earns a Double Up From Keeline

Nível 9 : 400/800, 800 ante

Action was on the turn with the board showing {K-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{2-Hearts}{5-Hearts} and Ben Keeline was first to act. He put out a bet of 15,000 and Anthony Spinella called on the button.

The river was the {8-Diamonds} and Keeline moved all in with a covering stack over Spinella. The shove was for 20,700 effective. Spinella wasted no time calling.

Keeline turned up {A-Spades}{A-Clubs} but Spinella had him beat, rivering two pair with {8-Hearts}{7-Hearts}. Keeline was forced to send over the pot and Spinella doubled to over 90,000 chips.

Farrell Snap-Folds the River

Nível 9 : 400/800, 800 ante

Niall Farrell flatted in the third position after his right-hand opponent made it 1,800 and the big blind came along.

All players checked the {9-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}{J-Diamonds} flop and the big blind led out 4,800 on the {3-Hearts} turn. Only Farrell called to see the {3-Hearts} hit the felt on the river.

The big blind reached to his piles, trying to slide in roughly 15,000 but Farrell's cards were already in the muck before he finished his forward motion.

Another Win for Ruzicka

Nível 9 : 400/800, 800 ante

Under the gun, Pavlo Veksler raised to what appeared to be 2,000. He was called by a player in the very next seat before hijack Vojtech Ruzicka squeezed to 7,500. Veksler got out of the way but the initial caller stuck around.

The flop came {10-Spades}{Q-Clubs}{7-Hearts} and Ruzicka continued for 5,100. His opponent check-called.

They both checked the {J-Hearts} turn as well as the {2-Clubs} river, and Ruzicka's {K-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds} was superior to {A-Spades}{J-Spades} in the showdown. The former November Niner just crossed the 200,000-mark.

Seidel Picks Off a Bluff from Wisdom

Nível 9 : 400/800, 800 ante

Erik Seidel opened with a raise to 1,800 and Andrew Wisdom called from the small blind.

Both players checked down until the board showed {K-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{J-Hearts} and then Wisdom led out with a bet of 6,000, more than the size of the pot. Seidel thought for a bit, then decided to call. Wisdom showed down {A-Spades}{2-Spades} for just ace-high, but Seidel had him beat with {A-Hearts}{J-Diamonds} and he took down the pot, chipping up to around 75,000.
