The board read {7-Spades}{9-Hearts}{9-Spades}{a-Spades} and both small blind Dylan Linde and Mike Gorodinsky checked, with Ben Yu sitting between them and all in already. The river was a {4-Hearts} and Linde check-folded to 15,000.

Yu showed {a-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{j-Clubs} and got up, clearly expecting to be eliminated. That's exactly what happened as Gorodinsky held {6-Hearts}{6-Spades}{5-Spades}{4-Spades}{3-Hearts} for a flush and a low.

"Gordo is my hero," Mike Matusow said. "Make sure you get that down. Everyone needs a hero in poker and he's been mine for like seven years."

They had gone all in on the flop of {2-Spades}{K-Hearts}{8-Hearts}, and when the turn and river brought the {A-Hearts} and {7-Clubs}, Gronning would quarter Baker for the side pot while Obst and Gronning chopped the main.

The flop brought a king for Anderson, but when Negreanu made a backdoor flush, Anderson would be eliminated.

Lars Gronning raised under the gun and James Obst three-bet it. Phil Hellmuth tanked awhile before folding in the big blind and Gronning called. Both players took two and Gronning came out betting. Obst called. Gronning improved to a one-card draw while Obst still needed two. Gronning bet again and Obst called off his last 3,500 or so. Gronning took one and Obst patted.

Obst showed {a-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} for a seven-low and a three-card seven. Gronning rolled over {6-Spades}{3-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{2-Hearts} for a lock on the badugi half and a draw to a better low. He got there with the {a-Spades}.

Hellmuth Can't Get a Call

"It's 1,600 more. Just call and put another bad beat on me!" stated Phil Hellmuth to his opponent David Baker.

Baker had the bring-in and Hellmuth completed to 4,000. Baker defended, and on fourth street, Hellmuth bet 4,000 leaving himself just 1,600 behind.

"I got two bad cards this time though Phil. Last time it was just one." responded Baker.

Eventually, Baker opted for a fold, and Hellmuth chipped up to just under 20,000.
