Brereton Battles with Schulman

Nível 20 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

On a first hand Luke Brereton opened to 16,000 on the button and Nick Schulman called in the small blind.

The flop came {7-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{a-Hearts} and both players checked, as well as on the {9-Diamonds} turn and {9-Clubs} river. Schulman tabled {4-Clubs}{4-Spades} and was dominated by {8-Spades}{8-Diamonds} in Brereton's hand.

The hand after, Brereton opened for 20,000 in the hijack and face a raise to 65,000 from Schulman on the button. He called after some thought.

On the {5-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{5-Spades} flop, Brereton check-called a bet worth 35,000 from Schulman and both players checked on the {3-Clubs} turn.

The river brought a {3-Hearts}, giving a full house on the board, and after a tank Schulman called the 60,000 from Brereton. The latter showed {k-Diamonds}{k-Clubs} and Schulman lost the pot.
