Table 3 Hands #50-52: Kerignard Chops For His Tournament Life

Nível 31 : 80,000/160,000, 20,000 ante

Hand #50: Oscar Kemps raised to 325,000 from middle position and Dan Sindelar quickly three-bet to 850,000 from the cutoff. The action folded back to Kemps who gave it some thought before moving all in. Sindelar snap-folded.

Hand #51: Yorane Kerignard moved all in from the button for 2,710,000 and Andori Larrabe move all in over the top from the small blind. Leif Force gave up his big blind and the showdown went as follows:

Kerignard: {A-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}
Larrabe: {A-Hearts}{9-Clubs}

The board ran out {A-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{K-Hearts} and the pot was chopped.

Hand #52: Iaron Lightbourne moved all in from the hijack and everyone folded. Lightbourne showed the {A-Spades} and said he had only looked at one card. The second card he showed was the {2-Diamonds} and the Englishman said he was happy that the ace was the first one he had seen.

Feature Table Hands #29-32: Sabat Checks Back Top-Top

Nível 31 : 80,000/160,000, 20,000 ante

Hand #29: Martin Jacobson raised to 320,000 from middle position, and Craig McCorkell called in the big blind to see the flop come {7-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{2-Spades}. McCorkell checked the middling board, then he called a bet of 300,000 from Jacobson. Action checked through the {8-Spades} turn and {10-Spades} river, and Jacobson's {3-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} was the winner.

Hand #30: Felix Stephensen made it 350,000 in the cutoff, and McCorkell popped it up to 875,000 from the small blind. He took the pot.

Hand #31: Jacobson opened the pot again, this time to 360,000, finding callers in Eddy Sabat in the cutoff and Bruno Politano in the big blind. Politano checked the {j-Spades}{6-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} flop, and Jacobson's 450,000 was called by only Sabat. Jacobson checked the {3-Diamonds} turn before calling 500,000 from Sabat. The {q-Diamonds} was also check-worthy for Jacobson, and Sabat checked it back. Jacobson showed {10-Clubs}{10-Hearts}, but the {a-Diamonds}{q-Clubs} of Sabat won the pot.

Hand #32: Mark Newhouse won the pot by raising to 325,000 on the button.

Bryan Devonshire Eliminated in 25th Place ($286,900)

Bryan Devonshire - 25th place

Table 2

Hand #34: From the button, Bryan Devonshire opened to 320,000 and Scott Palmer called in the big blind.

Both players checked the {3-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{6-Hearts} flop. The {9-Spades} landed on the turn and Palmer led for 410,000. Devonshire folded, and Palmer scooped the pot.

Hand #35: The action folded to Maximilian Senft in the hijack, and he opened with a min-raise to 320,000. Next to act, Bryan Devonshire announced he was all in for 2,695,000, and after the blinds folded the action was back on Senft. After close to two minutes of deliberating, Senft made the call to put Devonshire at risk.

Senft: {A-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}
Devonshire: {10-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}

With Devonshire racing to stay alive, the {K-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{A-Hearts} flop paired Senft's ace to put him well in front. The {Q-Clubs} then landed on the turn, and Devonshire was looking for a jack to make a saving straight.

Unfortunately for the 2011 WSOP Main Event 12th-place finisher, the river brought the {6-Spades} and Devonshire headed to the rail in 25th place for a $286,900 payday while Senft climbed to 7.3 million in chips.

Feature Table Hands #24-28: Politano Mixing It Up

Nível 31 : 80,000/160,000, 20,000 ante

Hand #24: Eddy Sabat raised to 350,000 from the hijack and took down the blinds and antes.

Hand #25: Bruno Politano raised to 350,000 from the button, Martin Jacobson called from the big blind, and it was heads-up action to the {8-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{8-Clubs} flop. Both players checked, the {7-Clubs} appeared on the turn, and again it went check-check. The {J-Hearts} river saw Jacobson bet 400,000, and Politano called. Jacobson tabled {a-Diamonds}{4-Spades}, but it was no good as Politano had rivered a jacks and eights with {k-Hearts}{j-Spades}.

Hand #26: Politano opened for 350,000 from the cutoff and Andrey Zaichenko called from the big blind to see a flop of {10-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}. Zaichenko checked, Politano bet 380,000, and Zaichenko called, which brought about the {J-Spades} on the turn. Zaichenko checked, Politano bet 785,000, and again Zaichenko called.

When the {6-Hearts} completed the board on the river, Zaichenko checked for a third time and Politano fired a hefty 1.48 million. This time it worked as Zaichenko released his hand.

Hand #27: Mark Newhouse raised to 325,000 from middle position, Politano called from the hijack, and the two saw a flop of {q-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{6-Diamonds}. Newhouse led out for 400,000, and Politano wasted little time in releasing his hand.

Hand #28: Craig McCorkell opened for 350,000 under the gun, Felix Stephensen called from the small blind, and it was heads-up action to the {7-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} flop. Both players checked, the {5-Diamonds} appeared on the turn, and Stephensen bet. McCorkell quickly folded and that was the end of that.
