Temos neste momento 3 lusos em jogo no dia 2 do Main Event WSOP 2014, a chip count no 2º intervalo é a seguinte:
Level 7 has come to an end, which means it's time for another 20-minute break. During this time the WSOP staff will be racing off the green T25 chips. Upon their return, the remaining players will play one more level before taking their 90-minute dinner break. After that, they'll play two more levels before bagging and tagging for the night.
Level 7 saw plenty of chips move about, and some bad beats to boot. One of them was a nasty river card put an end to Eric "basebaldy" Baldwin's 2014 WSOP; likewise, Brent Hanks also fell on the river, though it wasn't quite as bad as Baldwin's bust.
Another player to fall was the inaugural WSOP National Champion, Sam Barnhart, who was eliminated from play courtesy of Darren Rabinowitz.
On the flip side, Phil Ivey changed rooms and promptly vaulted into the chip lead, due in no small part to a double elimination, while NBA champion Paul Pierce managed to finish the level with 96,500 in chips. Clearly Level 7 was kind to two of the biggest names in the room.
While you wait for action to resume, check out PokerNews' Day 2c update:
Phil Ivey tossed out a bet of 14,000 on a flop of , Lazaro Hernandez called, and Fabian Scherle moved all in for 44,000. Ivey reshoved for effectively 130,000, and Hernandez paused.
"I guess I'm going home," Hernandez said, finally risking his six-figure stack.
Ivey:
Hernandez:
Scherle:
"Why did you say you're going home?" Ivey said incredulously, after seeing that Hernandez had the nuts.
"Because you're Phil Ivey!" Hernandez responded.
Hernandez added a flush draw when the turn was the , and just needed to fade a ten, nine, six, or five on the river to double through. The dealer rapped the felt, burned one final card, then delivered the river.
The .
Ivey boated up, making sixes full of tens and pushing his stack to nearly 400,000 chips, and Hernandez's premonition came true — he's going home.

Eu: "Tamos bem!"
Fellini: "74k!"
Eu: "na mesma?!"
Fellini: "Sim, na mesma, muitos potes!"
Ok, que seja!
Brent Hanks began the day on a short stack, and he's played patiently waiting for a spot. He finally found it when he was in the cutoff and committed his last 4,975. Ronny Schimpf didn't seem too excited to call from the big blind, but he did so nonetheless.
Hanks:
Schimpf:
"Yup, woke up with it," Hanks said when Schimpf commented on his prime holdings. Hanks was ahead, and he managed to make a set on the flop. However, Schimpf managed to pick up an up-and-down straight draw. The turn was of no consequence, but the was as it completed the aforementioned straight.
With that, Hanks' 2014 WSOP has come to an end.

In one of the first hands back from break, WSOP bracelet winner Eric "basebadly" Baldwin got involved in a big hand with Avinash Kataria.
When we arrived at the table, Kataria had 6,600 laid out in front of him in the big blind and Baldwin had popped it to 14,200 from the cutoff. Kataria, who had the bigger stack, thought for a few moments before announcing that he was all in, and Baldwin sort of shrugged before calling off for right around 50,000.
Baldwin:
Kataria:
Baldwin was in a dominating spot and primed to double to 100,000. The flop was safe enough for Baldwin, and so was the turn. All Baldwin had to do was dodge a queen on the river, but then the dealer delivered a dagger through his heart by burning and putting out the . Baldwin seemed a bit shell-shocked, but eventually tossed forward his chips, wished the table luck, and then took his leave from the 2014 WSOP Main Event.
