Litvinov Flops It

Nível 2 : 100/200, 0 ante

We joined the action to see Artem Litvinov all in on the river for 27,250 of a board reading {a-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{2-Spades}{j-Spades}{7-Spades}. His opponent had called and Litvinov showed him the {5-Hearts}{4-Spades} flopped straight to get a double up and leave his opponent, who mucked his cards, short.

Litvinov often likes to be the table captain and the center of attention, but right now it is impossible for anyone to get a word in edgewise as Little Drop for One Drop runner-up Theodore Driscoll has barely paused to breathe. He informed the table that he had just in fact had a congratulatory text from All American Dave. Headphones are a popular choice at this table.

Miller Mucks

Nível 2 : 100/200, 0 ante

Ryan Miller and an opponent were heads up on a flop of {q-Clubs}{5-Spades}{6-Hearts}, and Miller's opponent check-called a bet of 1,700.

The turn was the {k-Clubs}, the player check-called another 4,300, and the {7-Clubs} completed the board. The player checked, Miller checked behind, and his opponent tabled {k-Spades}{q-Spades} for kings and queens.

Miller shook his head and mucked.

Pierce Doesn't Get There

Nível 2 : 100/200, 0 ante

Two players limped in for 200 apiece and Paul Pierce made it 1,000 to go. It was folded around to the limpers who both called. The flop came {J-Spades}{8-Hearts}{5-Hearts} and it was checked around.

The turn was the {10-Spades} and the first limper checked. The second limper bet 2,500. Pierce rubbed his hands together and said "I just call" as he placed some chips into the middle. The first limper called as well.

The river was the {10-Clubs} and it was checked around. The turn bettor turned over {K-Hearts}{J-Hearts} for jacks and tens and Pierce showed {K-Spades}{Q-Spades} for a turned royal flush draw that didn't get there. Despite the loss, Pierce has chipped up nicely from his early slow start.

Engel Folds to Turn Raise

Nível 2 : 100/200, 0 ante

Ari Engel raised to 800 from early position and found callers from the cutoff, the player who "misclicked" earlier called from the small blind and Jonathan Duhamel called from the big blind.

The action checked to Engel on the {6-Hearts}{K-Spades}{2-Hearts} flop and everyone except Duhamel called.

Again, the action checked to Engel on the {4-Clubs} turn, and he kept his foot firmly on the gas and bet 1,700. A few moments later, the cutoff raised to 3,800. Mr Misclick asked for confirmation of the raise's size before folding and Engel slammed on the brakes and let his hand go.

Tuck On the River

Nível 2 : 100/200, 0 ante

David Tuchman announced a bet of 4,200 on a {2-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{k-Diamonds} board and his opponent insta-mucked. The voice of the WSOP live stream is now back above a starting stack.

'Tahoe' Andrew's Back Again

Nível 2 : 100/200, 0 ante

"Ladies and gentleman, I would like to take a moment to point out a man who's been at every World Series of Poker for 41 years and counting," Nolan Dalla just announced inside the Amazon Room.

Howard 'Tahoe' Andrew is seated at a table in the Tan section where he will battle it out today with the likes of Alexander Kuzmin, Aaron Massey, Jameson Painter and Max Lykov.

Since 1973, Andrew has played in at least one World Series of Poker event every year, his best being 1976 when he won two bracelets. On the list of results of both tournaments he managed to win, no other players are listed, indicating it was a winner-take-all format.

Andrew made the 1984 WSOP Main Event final table, won by Jack Keller, and cashed in 1987, 1992 and 2004. In the 2003 Senior's Event, Andrew finished 8th followed by cashes in 2007 and 2010. In total, Tahoe has 254 tournament results and is just shy of $1.5 million in career earnings.

Karim's Min-Betting Ways Return

Nível 2 : 100/200, 0 ante

Zo Karim was in the cutoff on a board of {7-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}{q-Hearts}, and he called 1,300 from the player in the small blind. On the {9-Hearts} river, the small blind checked, and Karim instantly tossed out 200. The small blind called, and Karim showed {a-}{k-} for top pair.
