If you have ever seen Lex Veldhuis in action you will know that he is not afraid of making big plays in big pots, in fact he seems to thrive on it. In a hand that just went down Veldhuis was facing off against one player sat to his left. They had reached the river of a board reading and after sorting some chips out from his stack Veldhuis bet a pot sized bet of 7,300.
His opponent took out the calling chips and gave a rather unconvincing display of chip twirling with shaky hands. After a bit of this, while Veldhuis sat there looking unconcerned, he mucked his cards.

The first three community cards read and the small blind checked over to Tim Davie in the hijack seat. Davie then set the price to play at 650 and his opponent called.
The turn brought the into play and both players checked its arrival in turn, leading the dealer to put the fifth and final community card onto the felt, the . Davie was facing a bet of 1,175 from the small blind and he quickly called, turning over and winning the pot as those "bullets" were a better hand than the of his opponent.

We watched three hands in a row that didn’t work out too well for Chris Moorman, who started with 21,600.
In the first hand, Moorman raised to 500 and the player to his left three-bet him and goaded, “Put it in.” Moorman did and they checked it all the way on the final board. Moorman got shown and mucked.
The next hand saw Moorman opened from first position for 500 again, and get called by the player on the button this time. The flop was and when Moorman bet 500 the button player took one earphone out and called. Moorman went on to check-fold the turn to a 1,500 bet.
The third hand got a bit more expensive for Moorman. He was in the big blind and called a raise to 600 to see a four-way flop of . The original raiser continued for 1,700 and Moorman was the only caller.
The turn was the and Moorman elected to check-call a further 3,500 to see the complete the board. Moorman checked and faced a bet of 5,200. He turned a few chips over in his palm glumly for a few seconds before releasing his hand.
