Griffin, who told our reporter that this is the first tournament he's played this summer, has nearly five million in lifetime tournament cashes and is one of few players who has captured the elusive Triple Crown of Poker (WPT win, EPT win, WSOP bracelet). Despite the hit on this hand, he still has a well above-average stack with 175,000 in chips.
