Yarchever is Holding On

Nível 22 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

A player in middle position had raised to 32,000 and Jeff Yarchever pushed in his small stack from the button. The small blind shoved over the top and the original raiser folded. Yarchever was ahead with {10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} against {9-Diamonds}{9-Spades} and managed to stay ahead on the {4-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{8-Hearts} board, giving him a bit more than a double up.

Dimmig Takes Over

Nível 22 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante
Jonathan Dimmig
Jonathan Dimmig

In the first hand we saw a short stack move all in and Christopher Dimmig called on the button, Stephen Graner in the small blind tanked for a while and checked his cards. He ended up folding, admitting to his opponents he'd folded pocket queens.

Shortie: {A-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}
Dimmig: {7-Clubs}{7-Spades}

The board ran out {7-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}{A-Clubs}{6-Hearts} and Dimmig scooped a nice pot.

The very next hand would see a bigger pot develop, starting with a Filip Vanherck raise and Dimmig jumping into the action again. By the turn the board showed {K-Clubs}{K-Spades}{A-Spades}{7-Diamonds}, Vanherck bet 167,000 and Dimmig raised to 335,000. The Belgian then tanked for minutes before announcing all in.

Dimmig snap-called and tabled {A-Hearts}{K-Diamonds} and Vanherck appeared a little shell-shocked when turning over his {A-Diamonds}{9-Spades}. The {5-Hearts} completed the board, and when all was done and dusted, the Belgian had about 250,000 left and a new chip leader was crowned.

Minor Setback for Lybaert

Nível 23 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Bart Lybaert raised to 40,000 from early position and Christopher Thompson moved all in from the big blind for 108,000. The Belgian called off and showed {6-Clubs}{8-Hearts}, having two live cards against {Q-Spades}{10-Hearts}. There was no help on the {J-Clubs}{A-Spades}{7-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}{J-Hearts} board and Thompson is still in it to win it.

Burleson Quadruples to Still-Tiny Stack

Nível 23 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Larry Samet opened the action preflop with a raise to 45,000 and got calls from Brad Anderson in middle position, Colby Burleson in the small blind, as well as the big blind. Burleson's call put him all in for his remaining 25,000 chips and the flop came {6-Hearts}{8-Spades}{3-Spades}. The player in the big blind checked and Samet pushed his roughly 260,000 chips in the middle, eliciting folds all around. He collected the side pot and he and Burleson flipped their cards up for the main pot.

Burleson: {10-Spades}{3-Hearts}
Samet: {10-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}

The turn brought the {3-Clubs} and Burleson jumped ahead with trips, while the river {J-Diamonds} fell meaningless. Burleson scooped the main pot for a quadruple up and is still sitting very short.

Graner Busts Two

Nível 23 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

A short stack moved all in for approximately 60,000 and another short stack joined in for slightly more than 100,000. Stephen Graner made the call. The first all in player had {A-Clubs}{7-Spades}, the second all in player had {A-Hearts}{K-Clubs} and Graner held {Q-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}. The board would run out {A-Spades}{Q-Hearts}{2-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds} to give Graner the double knockout. Here are the remaining chip counts from Graner's table, #439:
