J.C. Tran was sitting in the big blind and called a 1,700 raise from a player in early position. The flop came and Tran check-called a 2,200 bet. The turn was the and both players checked.
The dealer put out the on the river and Tran placed out a 3,800 bet which led to a quick fold from his opponent. Tran already has a 4th place finish this WSOP in the $25,000 Mix-Max event. Tran was slightly disappointed in the finish but was able to joke about it earlier today on Twitter:
Somehow @VanessaSelbst stole $500k and a bracelet from me in the 25k mix max. I have to find a way to get it back in the #MillionaireMakerFollow @jctran23

Charles Chattha started the day with around 25,000 in chips and has since doubled that pretty much. Just now we saw a player in under the gun move all in for 5,800 and the Brit flatted two seats over. All other players folded and we went to the showdown:

The tournament screens indicate that we have already lost 300 players today in about 40 minutes of play. While this is not unexpected, it may also mean a not so crazy long tomorrow and is surely appreciated by this fellow blogger.

Tony Gregg opened to 1,700 from the button and was called by the player in the small blind. The flop came and Gregg's opponent checked. Gregg made a bet of 1,800 and was called.
Both players checked on the turn which lead to the player in the small blind leading out for 2,400 on the flop. Gregg thought for a moment and put out a raise of 8,700. His opponent quickly folded. Gregg, who won the One Drop at the 2013 WSOP, is looking to add another seven figure score to his poker resume. Maria Ho is also at his table, with a stack much shorter than the "End Boss."

The tournament clock shows 1,158 players remaining meaning we've lost nearly 300 players in the first level of play today. At this rate we'll be in the money at the end of the next level (probably not).
Facing a raise to 2,200, Andrew Lichtenberger moved all in for 11,500 from the big blind and his opponent made the call.
