Cody Crushing After Getting Here Late

Nível 7 : 150/300, 25 ante

Jake Cody is absolutely flying at the moment and is up to 25,000 despite buying into the Millionaire Maker late. It's not all good news though because the talented Brit is having to share a table with $111,111 One Drop High Roller champion Tony Gregg and fellow Brit Ben "f3nix35" Dobson.

Elsewhere, Rhys Jones is cruising with 19,100 while Maria Ho is in a similar position with 19,300.

Only ten tables left in Pavilion

Nível 7 : 150/300, 25 ante

Slowly but surely the field is getting cut down but there is no indication whatsoever on how many players are left. What we do know is that there are only ten tables remaining in the Pavilion room and the below players are the most familiar faces left there.

Deeb Doubles, Still Short

Nível 7 : 150/300, 25 ante

Freddy Deeb doubled to 3,700 but is still incredibly short.

Deeb, in the big blind, called a raise of 650 from the cutoff and then open-shipped his stack into the middle on a {9-Hearts}{4-Spades}{9-Clubs} flop, a bet that received an instantaneous call from his opponent.

It was {6-Spades}{6-Clubs} versus {A-Hearts}{A-Spades}, Deeb holding the lower of the pairs. The {Q-Spades} on the turn was no help to Deeb, but the {6-Diamonds} was as it improved him to a set and won him the pot.

The player whose aces were cracked jumped from his seat and put his hands on his head in apparent disbelief.

"You still have money," said Deeb, "What are you moaning about?"

"First my jacks and now my aces?"

"You'll miss me when I'm gone, you'll be bored!" said Deeb, which drew a chuckle from several of the players at the table except the player with the cracked aces, of course.

Klein In Charge Of The Table

Nível 8 : 200/400, 50 ante

After a raise to 850 and a three-bet to 1,600, Loren Klein called and so did the initial raiser. On the {J-Clubs}{4-Spades}{5-Clubs} flop, the three-bettor made it 2,400 to go and only Klein called to see the {J-Diamonds} turn. The opponent checked and Klein won the pot with a 3,300 bet. He has taken over control of the table and hopes for yet another deep run similar to the Pot Limit Omaha Event #3.

Benger Shove Goes Uncalled

Nível 8 : 200/400, 50 ante

Griffin Benger has not managed to get out of first gear today and has been playing the role of short-stack ninja since we first laid eyes on him.

He's still short now, but has a few extra chips after moving all-in from early position for 2,700 in total and winning the blinds and antes.
