Spectacle in Blue

Nível 6 : 100/200, 25 ante

Ryan Laplante and Jack Salter are on their third bullet with double starting stack, Salter actually used his three bullets in half an hour so far.

Anthony Spinella doubled up for 3,400 with {7-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} versus {A-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds} on the {8-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} board.

Max Steinberg won a curios triple-suckout hand with {A-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} versus {Q-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} versus {3-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} after all three players had their chips in preflop. The board ran out {2-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{5-Clubs} and each of them had something from the board.

Last but not least, Andrew Brown sucked out on Andy Frankenberger with {8-Spades}{8-Hearts} versus {A-Hearts}{A-Diamonds} after spiking a set on the {K-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{K-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} river.

Purple Update

Nível 6 : 100/200, 25 ante

We still have about 10 tables left in the Amazon Purple section and among those is Duy Ho, who already reached the final table of the $ 1,000 No Limit Hold'em (Event #45). He may very well be on the way to another though, as Ho got a nice donation to boost his stack.

Ho called a three-bet preflop to 1,900 and then min-raised the continuation bet of his opponent on a ten-high flop from 2,800 to 6,000. The opponent somehow got his stack in with {A-}{Q-} thanks to the re-entry format and Ho sent him to the rail with pocket aces.

Surprise on Table One

Nível 6 : 100/200, 25 ante

David Boyaciyan lost about two third of his stack but that isn't really the surprise on table one. Maurice Hawkins arrived with heaps of chips and appears to be our current chip leader with massive 49,000 in chips.

More and More

Nível 6 : 100/200, 25 ante

The registration is open for another hour since we are 10 minutes into the sixth level. This means, players can still re-enter if they bust and there is barely any minute when the table for those late registrants is not busy. The screens now show 4,323 entries.

Karlic Loses Minimum

Nível 5 : 100/200, 0 ante

On a {10-Spades}{5-Spades}{10-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} turn, Gerald Karlic and his opponent both checked before the Austrian called 1,500 on the {8-Hearts} river. He mucked the {J-Diamonds}{J-Hearts} after being shown {Q-Spades}{Q-Hearts} and dropped back into the four-digit zone.

Two Bigger Stacks

Nível 5 : 100/200, 0 ante

Michael Wang and David Boyaciyan are well above average whereas Pieter de Korver is on his third bullet already. Ronnie Bardah is chatting for quite some time with Vinny Pahuja already and his seat is occupied by someone else.
