Nível 22 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante
Evan McNiff - 19th Place
Evan McNiff - 19th Place

David Bravin opened and when Evan McNiff moved all in Bravin asked again for a count as he decided whether to risk the tournament life of yet another player.

He did make the call with {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs} and faced a race against the {k-Spades}{j-Spades} of McNiff.

The board ran out {2-Clubs}{5-Spades}{q-Clubs}{2-Spades}{3-Diamonds} and McNiff was another victim of Bravin.

Alexander Maximov - 20th Place
Alexander Maximov - 20th Place

Alexander Maximov showed up late today and after just a few minutes was knocked out in the first hand he played.

In the hand Maximov open-shoved for 145,000 and David Bravin made the call. Maximov had live cards with {9-Clubs}{2-Hearts} after being called by the {k-Spades}{j-Diamonds} of Bravin, but the board ran out {3-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{4-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} and Maximov was eliminated.

Lue Huang Eliminated in 21st Place ($17,577)

Nível 22 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante
Lue Huang - 21st Place
Lue Huang - 21st Place

Zach Gruneberg opened to 35,000 in early position and Lue Huang moved all in. Gruneberg announced call, thinking he was the player at risk.

Gruneberg: {8-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}
Huang: {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}

A classic race was underway and Gruneberg would get the easiest sweat of his tournament. As the dealer flipped over the flop cards, the {8-Clubs} was sitting as the door card. The rest of the board completed {9-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}, and the dealer started to cut down their stacks.

After the dealer was finished counting, it was determined that Gruneberg had Huang outstacked by one single chip — 287,000 to 286,000 — and thus Huang has been eliminated.

Marechal Doubles Up

Nível 22 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Thomas Dietl bet 41,000 on the turn with the board showing {2-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{5-Spades}, and Guillauma Marechal moved all in. Dietl got a count of 290,000, then made the call with {8-Clubs}{6-Clubs}. He sighed when he saw the {10-Spades}{9-Spades} of Marechal.

The {3-Hearts} came on the river, giving Marechal his double-up.

Ty Reiman Eliminated in 22nd Place ($17,577)

Nível 22 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante
Ty Reiman - 22nd Place
Ty Reiman - 22nd Place

All the chips went in on the flop of {k-Clubs}{j-Spades}{6-Spades}. Ty Reiman held {q-Spades}{9-Spades}, while Cherish Andrews had {k-Clubs}{7-Clubs}.

The {2-Hearts} turn and {8-Clubs} river couldn’t deliver the needed spade for Reiman, and the rest of his chips slid over to Andrews.

Nível 22 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante
Pedro Correa - 23rd Place
Pedro Correa - 23rd Place

Pedro Correa moved all in under the gun preflop and Matt Alexander reshoved from middle position. Action folded around and the cards were tabled.

Correa: {9-Hearts}{9-Clubs}
Alexander: {k-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}

Alexander was in great shape to bust his opponent and would not even have a sweat through the {6-Clubs}{4-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{j-Diamonds} board.

Scott Baumstein - 24th Place
Scott Baumstein - 24th Place

David Bravin opened for 34,000. He had done this on the hand before and folded to a shove, but this time he snap-called a shove from Scott Baumstein.

Baumstein {k-Spades}{j-Hearts}
Bravin {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}

The flop was {3-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}{q-Clubs} giving Baumstein outs, but the {9-Diamonds} turn and {q-Hearts} river bricked out to send Baumstien out first today.
