Secondary Table Hands #123-124: Vogelsang Takes Two

Nível 19 : 200,000/400,000, 50,000 ante

Hand #123: Christoph Vogelsang raised to 800,000 from the button and found a call from Cary Katz in the small blind. The flop came down {9-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{A-Diamonds} and Katz checked. Vogelsang continued for 850,000 and Katz stuck around.

The two checked both the turn ({3-Clubs}) and the river ({3-Spades}), prompting Katz to shake his head.

"You win," Katz said.

Vogelsang turned up {Q-Clubs}{6-Hearts} for merely queen-high.

"God..." lamented Katz, mucking his hand.

Hand #124: Vogelsang opened the cutoff to 800,000 and Tom Hall called from the button. The blinds folded and the flop came down {9-Hearts}{10-Spades}{K-Diamonds}. Both players checked and the {K-Spades} paired the board on the turn. Two more checks allowed the {7-Hearts} to finish the board. Hall showed {7-Spades}{6-Spades} for a pair of sevens but was ultimately bested by Vogelsang's {8-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}.
