Galfond Loses Two
On the first of these two hands that Phil Galfond was involved in, action folded to him in the small blind. He limped in, and then Tony Gregg checked his option in the big blind to see the 
flop. Galfond checked, Gregg bet 100,000, and Galfond folded.
On the next hand, Gabe Kaplan made it 180,000 to go from the hijack seat, and Galfond called on the button. Christoph Vogelsang called from the big blind, and the flop came down 
. After Vogelsang and Kaplan checked, Galfond bet 220,000. Vogelsang called, and Kaplan folded.
The turn paired the board when the 
landed, and Vogelsang checked over to Galfond. Galfond checked behind, then the dealer placed the 
out on the river. Both players checked.
Vogelsang showed the 
for two pair, aces and eights, and Galfond mucked.
