Hands #53-56: Skoldstedt Caught Bluffing

Nível 26 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Hand #53: Jeff Blenkarn moved all in for 450,000 and Mike Kachan thought about it and asked, “You strong?” He folded, as did everyone else. Blenkarn showed {a-Hearts}{q-Clubs}.

Hand #54: Kachan opened for 95,000 and Viktor Skoldstedt three-bet to 205,000. The blinds folded and it was back to Kachan who moved all in. Skoldstedt didn’t waste much time before mucking.

Hand #55: Kachan made it 85,000, Neo Hoang raised to 240,000 Kachan let it go.

Hand #56: Skoldstedt made it 85,000 and Eric Shanks called in the big blind. The flop was {a-Clubs}{a-Hearts}{2-Clubs}. Shanks check-called a bet of 105,000 and they saw a turn card {9-Diamonds}. Both players checked to see a river {9-Diamonds}. Shanks checked again and Skoldstedt bet 175,000. Shanks made the call.

Skoldstedt turned over {8-Hearts}{4-Clubs} and Shanks won with his {k-Spades}{q-Clubs}. “Nice call,” Skoldstedt said.

Skoldstedt: {J-Hearts}{10-Spades}

Hands #47-51: Egan Doubles, Blenkarn Short

Nível 25 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante

Hand #47: Richard Milne raised to 70,000 on the button and Andrew Egan moved all in from the small blind and when the big blind folded Milne instantly called.

Milne had {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds} and Egan was in trouble with {a-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}. The cards ran out {5-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{2-Clubs}{10-Spades} and the river saved, and doubled up Egan.

Hand #48: Steve Gross opened for 60,000 and Eric Shanks called in the big blind. The flop was {6-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{2-Clubs} and a check from Shanks saw Gross bet 50,000 and take it down.

Hand #49: Gross opened for 60,000 and Shanks three-bet from the small blid to 170,000. That won Shanks the pot.

Hand #50: Richard Milne open shoved and took the antes and blinds.

Hand #51: Jeff Blenkarn made a rare opening raise from the button and got called in the big blind by Mike Kachan. The flop was {6-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{5-Clubs} and both players had another look at their hole cards. Kachan checked and Blenkarn bet 100,000. Kachan studied his opponent and announced in a confident voice, “I’m all in.” Blenkarn mucked his hand.

Hands 45-46: Egan Exposes Cards, Doubles

Nível 25 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante

Hand #45: Mike Kachan raised to 65,000 and folded after Viktor Skoldstedt moved all in. Kachan mucked ace-high and was shown {6-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} by Skoldstedt.

Hand #46: Short-stacked Andrew Egan was in the big blind with 115,000 chips in total. Jeff Blenkarn raised to 65,000 and the action folded to Egan, who called and turned over {8-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}. Egan wasn't all in yet and Blenkarn was in the benefit of knowing the cards of his opponent.

On the {7-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} flop, Egan moved all in and Blenkarn pondered about his decision for a good minute. He eventually called off the 50,000 and turned over {A-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}. Neither the {9-Clubs} turn nor the {5-Spades} river improved his hand and Egan doubled up.

Hands #40-44: Skoldstedt Doubles with Flip

Nível 25 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante

Hand #40: Neo Hoang raised to 80,000 and took the blinds and antes.

Hand #41: Ray Henson raised to 60,000 and won the blinds and antes.

Hand #42: Steve Gross made it 65,000 and scooped the pot.

Hand #43: Jeff Blenkarn raised to 65,000 and folded after Gross three-bet to 150,000.

Hand #44: Andrew Egan raised to 60,000 and Viktor Skoldstedt moved all in for 535,000. Call by Egan.

Egan: {9-Diamonds}{9-Spades}
Skoldstedt: {A-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}

The Swede doubled up on the {7-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{3-Spades} board and Egan has been reduced to only four big blinds.
