Huck Seed Eliminated

Nível 13 : 1,000/2,000, 0 ante
Huck Seed
Huck Seed

Huck Seed raised from the cutoff only to have Jennifer Harman pop it up to three bets from the button. The blinds got out of the way and Seed called. Both bracelet winners drew two cards at the first draw and Seed check-called a bet from Harman. The second draw saw Seed once again pull two while Harman took one. Again, Seed check-called a bet.

Each player took one card on the final draw and Seed check-called one last bet. He showed a ninety-seven perfect but was beaten by Harman's {9-}{6-}{5-}{3-}{2-}. Harman was pushed the pot and Seed was left crippled with just 2,100 in chips.

Soon after, Seed found himself all in before the first draw. George Danzer three-bet from the button and Brian Tate called for a side pot from the big blind.

Tate pulled three new cards from the big blind and Danzer took just one. Tate check-called a bet and both players took one on the second draw. Tate fired out a bet and Danzer flatted. Each player drew one on the final draw and Tate checked. Danzer pushed out a final bet and Tate called.

Danzer fanned the nuts — {7-}{5-}{4-}{3-}{2-} — and was pushed the pot. Seed, before leaving, showed {8-}{7-}{5-}{4-}{2-}. Danzer now has 127,000 in chips.

Jason Mercier (Day 1)
Jason Mercier (Day 1)

Jason Mercier opened with a raise and Freddy Deeb called from the cutoff. Randy Ohel tagged along from the big blind and the three went to the draw. Mercier drew three cards while his opponents each took two. Ohel was first to act post-draw and came out with a bet. Both Mercier and Deeb called.

On the second draw, Ohel took one card while Mercier and Deeb each grabbed two. Ohel led into the middle again, Mercier called, and Deeb let his hand go. The final draw saw Ohel and Mercier each take one new card.

The action on the final betting round went check-check and Ohel tabled a pair of fives.

"Air," said Ohel.

Mercier showed {4-}{4-}{6-}{3-}{2-} for a pair of fours which finished as the best worst hand. The two-time bracelet winner was pushed the pot and now sits on about 50,000.
