Silver Stacks

Nível 8 : 200/400, 50 ante

Woods Stays Active

Nível 8 : 200/400, 50 ante

A short stack moved all in for 2,650 and James Woods called in middle position. Tristan Wade in the big blind three-bet to 7,400 and enforced a fold from the actor, who had been very active lately with pot sized bets.

Short stack: {A-Clubs}{9-Spades}
Wade: {J-Clubs}{J-Spades}

The {K-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{8-Clubs} board ran out in favor of Wade and Woods admitted that he had pocket fives there.

Blankenship Ships Double Up in Style

Nível 8 : 200/400, 50 ante

On the {J-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} flop, Nathaen Blankenship was all in for his last 9,000 chips or so from the small blind and the opponent on the button made the call with {9-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} for the flopped straight. Blankenship had outs with the {A-Hearts}{10-Hearts}, the {A-Clubs} turn was not quite enough though. On the {K-Hearts} he fist-pumped before realizing what hand he just improved to ... a royal flush!

Aidonopoulos Exits

Nível 8 : 200/400, 50 ante

Theodoros Aidonopoulos called the all-in raise of an opponent that just barely had him covered and put himself at risk with {9-}{9-}. He just had to hold against {a-}{k-}. The dealer flopped {j-Spades}{9-Spades}{10-Spades} and Aidonopoulos was looking good with a set. The turn was a blank: {4-Diamonds}. The card he didn't want to see came on the river — the {q-Spades}. Neither player had a spade to complete the four-card flush on the board, but the queen completed the straight and Aidonopoulos' set was no good.

The Magician Makes One Disappear

Nível 8 : 200/400, 50 ante

Antonio Esfandiari called the early-position all-in bet of an opponent and flipped over {q-Clubs}{j-Clubs} to the at-risk player's {9-}{9-}. The flop brought an exciting sweat as it fell {9-}{10-}{x-} to give Antonio an open-ender and his opponent a set. The turn was a blank, but the river was the {k-Clubs} to give Esfandiari the best hand.

Apmann Takes From Woods

Nível 8 : 200/400, 50 ante

It isn't necessarily an easy table for Adrian Apmann with Ellie Biessek, the always creative James Woods and Tristan Wade. The German however doubled through Woods after spiking the {A-}{Q-Spades}{3-} flop with {A-Spades}{J-Spades}. On the {2-Spades} turn, Woods bet 6,500 and Apmann only had 6,900 behind, obviously not going anywhere with top pair and the nut flush draw.

He moved all in and Woods had to call with {8-}{8-} to deliver the chips one community card later.

Red Stacks; Lodden Thinks Revving Up

Nível 8 : 200/400, 50 ante

The red section of the Brasilia room is narrowing down as players get moved into blue and silver. One table in the red section has Antonio Esfandiari and John Racener seated together. They have been striking up a game of "Lodden Thinks" and it is starting to draw a crowd.
