Double Up for Nassif

Nível 13 : 1,000/2,000, 0 ante

There were two limpers for 2,000 and Gabriel Nassif moved all in for 8,100 out of the small blind. The first limper three-bet to 18,000 and that scared off the other opponent.

Opponent: {5-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{A-Spades}{6-Spades}
Nassif: {J-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}

After the {3-Clubs}{K-Clubs}{9-Spades}{Q-Spades} flop, the Frenchman had the straight but needed to stay clear of spades in order to avoid elimination. The {8-Clubs} river was a blank and he sat back down.

Hall "Tilted" After Chop

Nível 12 : 800/1,600, 0 ante

Devon Shalmi and Galen Hall got it in after the {Q-Clubs}{10-Spades}{6-Diamonds} flop and Hall was ahead with {A-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{7-Hearts} for top two versus Shalmi's {A-Spades}{Q-Hearts}{J-Clubs}{9-Spades} for top pair and an open-ended straight draw. The {Q-Spades} turn seemingly put a lock on the pot for Hall, but the {A-Hearts} river let them chop the pot.

"See, we got it in flipping and chopped, but now I am tilted after seeing the turn," Hall said, laughing.

Humphrey Flops It Again

Nível 12 : 800/1,600, 0 ante

The cards were already rushed away and Erick Lindgren joked "That's Matthew!" when he won yet another huge pot. He'd flopped the nut flush; Lindgren and the player in Seat 2 were still in. After a blank turn, the player in Seat 2 got the remainder of his stack in with a set and second-nut flush, only to brick the river.

"Please mention his acting abilities on the turn," Lindgren said with a smile after not taking the bait and folding after the turn. The knocked-out player even hurried away from the table without touching his drink, which looked like a Bloody Mary.

"Here is a free drink if you want it," Lindgren said.

Sorry, but we can't while on duty. But thanks for the offer.

Pahuja Wins with Aces vs. Aces

Nível 12 : 800/1,600, 0 ante

Vinnie Pahuja and his table neighbor got it in preflop and Pahuja was at risk for his last 26,600 with {A-Spades}{A-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{6-Spades}. The opponent also had {A-}{A-} with {8-}{3-} as kicker cards. But the {5-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{9-Spades} runout made Pahuja a straight with his two kickers, and Pahuja won the pot.

We arrived at the table with approximately 22,000 in the pot and a bet of 12,000 in front of Fabrice Soulier on a {K-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{3-Spades}{2-Clubs}{Q-Spades} board, His opponent, Taylor Paur, mulled over his decision for nearly a minute before deciding to fold. That pot moved Soulier's stack to 185,000 and he is the clear chip leader at this point.
