Hands #80-84: Paster Moves Further Ahead

Nível 25 : 15,000/30,000, 0 ante

Hand #80: Brandon Paster opened to 75,000 from the small blind and Millard Hale folded his big blind.

Hand #81: Paster opened to 75,000 from the button and Gabriel Nassif re-raised to 240,000 from the big blind. Paster made the call and we were seeing a flop with 495,000 already in the pot. Nassif would check the {J-Clubs}{8-Spades}{5-Spades} flop and then fold when Paster put out a 125,000 chip bet.

Hand #82: We missed this hand inadvertently while counting down Paster's stack.

Hand #83: Kevin Saul opened to 65,000 from early position and would pick up the blinds when everyone folded.

Hand #84: Matt Dames opened to 90,000 from the small blind and Saul made the call from the big blind. Saul would snap-fold with vigor when Dames led out for a pot-sized bet on the {A-Spades}{9-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} flop.

Hands #59-63: Two Double Ups

Hand #59: Brandon Paster opened for 55,000, Gabriel Nassif made it 201,000 from the button, Paster re-raised which was enough to set Nassif all in. The hands:

Paster: {K-Diamonds}{K-Spades}{Q-Clubs}{9-Spades}
Nassif: {A-Spades}{K-Hearts}{8-Spades}{6-Hearts}

The flop came {A-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{5-Spades} to move Nassif into the lead and a frustrated Paster walked off to the back of the room. The turn and river did nothing to change the outcome and Nassif doubled up to 825,000. Paster came back muttering "poker sucks" under his breath.

Hand #60: Nassif raised to 50,000 from the cutoff and won the blinds when everyone folded.

Hand #61: Paster raised to 50,000 and won the blinds when everyone folded.

Hand #62: Marcel Vonk raised the pot from the small blind and Kevin Saul folded his big blind.

Hand #63: Matthew Dames opened for 84,000, Dmitrii Valouev raised pot setting himself all in, and Dames made the call. The hands were turned over:

Valouev: {K-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{2-Diamonds}
Dames: {K-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}{J-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}

The flop came {8-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{3-Spades} keeping Valouev's kings in the lead. The turn was the {9-Hearts} giving Dames a gutshot straight draw. The river, however, was the {4-Clubs} and Valouev doubled up to 350,000 while sending Dames to the shortest stack at the table with 60,000 in chips.

Hands #54-58: Hale Doubles Through Paster

Nível 24 : 12,000/24,000, 0 ante

Hand #54: Kevin Saul raised to 48,000 from the button, Marcel Vonk three-bet to 168,000 out of the small blind. "Good trick Marcel. I folded the button three orbits in a row," Saul said before mucking his cards.

Hand #55: Millard Hale raised the pot to 84,000 first to act and got folds all around.

Hand #56: Brandon Paster raised the pot out of the small blind to 72,000 and Hale moved all in for a total of 186,000 chips. Call from Paster, showdown please:

Hale: {A-Spades}{K-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{7-Spades}
Paster: {A-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}

The {J-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs} flop gave Hale a straight and Paster was wishing for diamonds go get a sweat. However, both the {5-Hearts} turn and the {9-Hearts} river bricked.

Hand #57: Paster raised from the button to 55,000 and quickly folded after Gabriel Nassif announced a pot-sized raise in the big blind.

Hand #58: Matthew Dames raised the pot to 84,000 from early position and claimed the blinds.
