Day 2 of Event #36: $1,500 No-Limit 2-7 Draw Lowball began with 38 players remaining from the starting field of 241 entrants. Among them were bracelet winners Brian Rast, Eli Elezra, and Phil Hellmuth. However, none were able to reach the final table. Hellmuth, in fact, was eliminated by end-of-day chip leader Steven Wolansky.
The official final table was reached shortly after the dinner break and following Scott Bohlman's elimination in seventh place, the remaining six players opted to bag and tag for the night. Among those still in the field is German football star Max Kruse, as well as 2010 WSOP November Niner Joseph Cheong.

Orjan Skommo opened to 10,000 in the cutoff and Scott Abrams three-bet-shoved on the button for about 43,000. Joseph Cheong four-bet-shoved from the small blind and Skommo folded. Cheong stood pat, while Abrams drew one.

Scott Abrams shoved for about 44,000 from the cutoff and Robin Rightmire called all in from the big blind for roughly 16,000. Rightmire drew two cards while Abrams drew one.

Joseph Cheong raised to 8,000 in the hijack and Scott Abrams called from the big blind. Abrams drew two, Cheong drew one and Abrams checked. Cheong bet 8,000, but was met with a check-raise from Abrams to 24,500. Cheong mulled it over for about a minute before he called with . Abrams couldn't beat it and Cheong collected the pot.
Joseph Cheong raised to 8,000 in the cutoff and Ali Eslami called from the big blind. Both players drew one, Eslami checked, and Cheong bet effectively 15,000-ish.
Eslami tanked for a bit before he called all in, but mucked when Cheong tabled .

German soccer star Max Kruse just scored a knockout, as he busted Scott Blackman in 12th place. Kruse raised to 5,000 and Blackman moved all in over the top for 36,600 total. The action folded back to Kruse who looked back down at his cards before making the call.

As Blackman squeezed his card hoping for a paint one, he said, "This is not good."

Orjan Skommko raised to 6,000 in second position and Shunjiro Uchida three-bet shoved on the button for roughly 47,000. After a few moments Skommo opted to call, drawing one card. Uchida stood pat.
