Hand #5: Steven Wolansky raised to 14,000 from the small blind but folded when Christopher Mecklin three-bet to 41,000 from the big blind.

Hand #6: Sam Touil, who began the day second in chips, moved all in under the gun for approximately 48,000 and Joseph Cheong called him from the cutoff. Touil drew one and Cheong stood pat with {10-}{9-}{7-}{4-}{3-}.

Touil showed what he was drawing to — an {8-}{7-}{3-}{2-} — but he ended up pairing when he squeezed out a {2-}. Touil became the day's first elimination and will take home $12,529 for his sixth-place finish.

Hands #1-3: A Couple of Hands for Kruse

Nível 17 : 2,000/4,000, 1,000 ante

Hand #1: Steven Wolansky opened for 8,000 from the cutoff and Samuel Touil called from the big blind. Touil drew one and Wolansky stood pat. Touil then bet 13,000, and Wolansky folded.

Hand #2: Steven Wolansky opened for 8,000 from the hijack, Max Kruse called from the button, and Orjan Skommo came along from the big blind. Skommo drew two, and the other two players a single card apiece. Two checks put action on Kruse, and he fired out 14,000. Skommo folded and Wolansky opted to call. Kruse tabled {10-}{9-}{7-}{6-}{3-} and it was good as Wolansky mucked.

Hand #3: Steven Wolansky raised to 8,000 under the gun and Max Kruse called from the cutoff. Wolansky stood pat and Kruse drew one. Wolansky led out for 9,000, Kruse raised to 23,000, and Wolansky called. Kruse tabled {9-}{5-}{4-}{3-}{2-} and Wolansky mucked yet again.

On top of the chip counts is Steven Wolansky with 257,000, but he'll have to outlast a talented final table to emerge with the victory.

Also as the final table is German football star Max Kruse. Denied the chance to play at the World Cup for Germany, Kruse finds himself at the final table looking to capture a bracelet.
