Waxman Takes from Wright

Nível 13 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

George Danzer raised to 4,500 from under the gun, Larry Wright called on the button, and Matt Waxman defended his big blind. The dealer fanned {j-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{7-Hearts}, the action checked to Wright, and he tossed out 10,600. Only Waxman called.

Both players checked on the turn ({3-Clubs}), and the river ({10-Spades}), and Wright showed {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs} for ace-high. Waxman had an ace as well, but he also had a jack, revealing {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts} for a pair of jacks.

Clash of the Champions

Nível 13 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Wuth the board reading {J-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{A-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{10-Clubs} it was 2012 Main Event champion Greg Merson betting out 11,000. WSOP 2010 Main Event champion Jonathan Duhamel tossed in a single 1,000 chip to indicate the call, but he soon had to add another 10,000.

Duhamel mucked after Merson showed his {J-Spades}{10-Diamonds}. Full house for the former champ, a small loss for the other.

Le Makes a Good Call

Nível 13 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

With the board reading {9-Spades}{K-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{6-Clubs}, we just saw Nam Le bet out 5,500 from the big blind. His opponent, former WSOP Main Event winner Joe Cada, made the call from the hijack.

The river brought the {A-Diamonds} on the table and Le checked to Cada. Cada bet out 10,000, and Le thought about it for some time before calling.

Cada showed his {J-Spades}{8-Spades} confidently, but that wasn't going to be the winner obviously. Le tabled {9-Hearts}{10-Hearts} and raked in the chips.

Silver Runs into Aces

Nível 13 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

After eliminating Andrea Dato holding two aces, Max Silver has now run into a pair of bullets himself.

Ami Alibay was all in and at risk for 73,600 with {a-Clubs}{a-Hearts} against Silver's dominated {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}, but Silver picked up a few outs on a flop of {k-Clubs}{8-Spades}{q-Hearts}. The {j-Spades} on the turn also gave him four outs to chop - any {10-} would give the duo Broadway - but the {9-Spades} bricked off on the river.

Alibay doubled to 148,200 chips, while Silver dipped back down to 104,000.
