David Leighton's tournament has ended after a cruel board run out a few moments ago.

Leighton started the ball rolling with a raise to 22,000 from under the gun and the action folded to Jonathan Gray in the cutoff and he announced "68,000" before raising to 68,000. The button and blinds folded, Leighton moved all-in and Gray quickly called.

Leighton was a substantial favorite to double and his chances of doing so increased on the flop. The turn gave some outs to a straight for Gray, but it was a real outside chance.

The river was the straight-completing and the entire table groaned. Gray covered Leighton and Leighton busted in 25th place.

Justin Wilks Eliminated in 25th Place ($12,242)

Justin Wilks moved all in from early position for 37,000, and action folded around to Jim Jakobsen, in the small blind. Jakobsen made the call putting Wilks' tourney life on the line.

Wilks was in good shape to double up, but as the dealer fanned out the flop, things didn't look so good any more. The turn gave Wilks a few more outs but, the river sealed his fate and he was sent to the rail in 25th place.

Peter Gould led for 34,000 on the and Ray Qartomy called, leaving himself 10,000 chips behind. The completed the board and Qartomy pushed his micro-stack in. Gould called, turned over for trip jacks, Qartomy mucked and went off into the distance to collect 23rd place money.

Matt Stout sat in middle position and made a raise preflop. When action folded around to Herb West in the small blind, he pushed all in and Stout made the call.

West was in need of a lot of help if he was to survive this all-in hand and continue to play this tournament. The dealer spread out and West didn't find the assistance he needed. He was eliminated in 22nd place and will collect $12,242.

Dominick Minaya Eliminated in 21st Place ($12,242)

Dominick Minaya has been sent to the rail in 21st place after two losing hands in quick succession wiped him out.

First, Minaya lost all but 80,000 of his stack when he tangled with Peter Gould on a board reading eventually calling a 48,000 river bet only to be shown for trip jacks.

A couple of hands later, Minaya moved all-in with what turned out to be in middle position and was re-shoved on by Jim Jakobsen who held .

By the river the board read and Minaya was gone.

Facing a raise from Eric Spitzer, Tom Dooley pushed all in from the button. When Spitzer called, Dooley let out a groan, knowing he was probably beat.

The flop of was no good for Dooley, but the turn gave him a few more outs. His chances of survival were squashed when the river fell , sweeping his chips to Spitzer and eliminating him in 20th place for $12,242.

Jeffrey Finkelstein Eliminated in 19th Place ($12,242)

Jeffrey Finkelstein watched on from the big blind and saw Matt Stout make it 27,000 to go from the button. The small blind ducked out of the way, Finkelstein moved all-in for around 110,000 and Stout made a reluctant call.

"That's a good flop," said Stout when he saw the flop, the hit the turn and although the completed a straight for Finkelstein, it also improved Stout to a flush.

The remaining 18 players will now redraw seats.
