Welcome back to the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino and the 2014 World Series of Poker for Day 3 of Event #30: $1,500 Seven-Card Stud Hi-Low!

Two days ago 588 players took to the felt to form a $793,800 prizepool, and now just 12 players remain with all eyes on the $190,538 first prize and WSOP gold bracelet.

Eric Kurtzman leads the final group into this last day after amassing an impressive 490,000-chip stack. Nipping at his heels however are Calvin Anderson (356,000), Sanjay Pandya (307,000), and Joe Tehan (285,000).

Six-time WSOP bracelet winner Ted Forrest is still in the mix and chasing his second bracelet for the series while cash-game specialist Melissa Burr will be eyeing her second final table of the series. 2007 Aussie Millions runner-up Jimmy Fricke is yet to taste WSOP gold, but after ending Day 1 as chip leader, and finishing sixth overall on Day 2, his confidence will be sky high as he makes a push for glory.

Forrest and Tehan Chop

Nível 21 : 10,000/20,000, 2,000 ante

Ted Forrest threw in 5,000 in an effort to complete, but since it was under half the raise, he was bound to a call as Joe Tehan and Levon Torosyan came along also. Tehan led the betting on all streets before seventh was checked down.

Forrest: {X-}{X-} / {A-Spades}{9-Hearts}{6-Spades}{3-Clubs} / {X-}
Tehan: {X-}{X-} / {8-Clubs}{A-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{Q-Hearts} / {X-}
Torosyan: {X-}{X-} / {Q-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} (folded on fifth)

Forrest tabled his {5-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{3-Hearts} for the low as Tehan's {J-Clubs}{6-Spades}{3-Spades} took the high with a pair of eights.

Myung Gets Kurtzman to Fold

Nível 21 : 10,000/20,000, 2,000 ante

John Myung called the bring in from the first spot with {8-Hearts}, and Eric Kurtzman completed with {5-Spades}. Action folded to Myung, who called. Kurtzman bet fourth, but it was Myung firing on fifth and sixth.

Myung: {x-}{x-}/{8-Hearts}{9-Spades}{6-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}
Kurtzman: {x-}{x-}/{5-Spades}{3-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}

Despite having three wheel cards up, Kurtzman folded to the dangerous board. Myung said he had a seven in the hole.

Burr Crippled

Nível 21 : 10,000/20,000, 2,000 ante

Catching the action on fifth street we found Melissa Burr betting out only to have Ted Forrest raise. Burr called, and then called 20,000 on both sixth and seventh street.

Burr: {X-}{X-} / {6-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{K-Hearts} / {X-}
Forrest: {X-}{X-} / {5-Clubs}{8-Spades}{3-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} / {X-}

Forrest tabled his {A-Spades}{K-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} for an eight-five low and ace-high as Burr double checked her hand and then mucked to be left with just three big bets.

Burr Survives

Nível 21 : 10,000/20,000, 2,000 ante

Robert Goldfarb completed and Melissa Burr raised. Levon Torosyan re-raised and Goldfarb called before Burr moved all in for 39,000 with both Torosyan and Goldfarb calling. Fourth street was checked before Torosyan bet fifth and Goldfarb folded as both player's board ran out as follows:

Goldfarb: {X-}{X-} / {A-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{J-Clubs} (folded on fifth)
Burr: {7-Spades}{5-Spades} / {A-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{2-Spades}{Q-Clubs} / {K-Diamonds}
Torosyan: {A-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} / {6-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} / {J-Spades}

With Burr making a low and Torosyan a high, the pot was chopped up.
