Field Size Update

Nível 3 : 50/100, 0 ante

After three full levels, the clock reads that 1,065 players have registered for this event. This puts this event on pace to be the largest non-hold'em field in WSOP history. That record is currently held by the $1,500 Pot-Limit Omaha event from the 2011 WSOP. Late registration will stay open until the start of Level 7, or just after the dinner break.

The clock currently reads that 624 players remain active in the event, meaning that over 440 runners have already been eliminated from play.

Cunningham Ships

Nível 3 : 50/100, 0 ante

The flop read {5-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} and four players including Erick Lindgren and Allen Cunningham are engaged in the hand. The first player to act checked and Lindgren followed suit. The third player cut out a bet of 525 and Cunningham flatted from the button. The first player and Lindgren released their hands, leaving action heads up to the turn.

The dealer put out the {6-Diamonds} on fourth street and Cunningham's opponent checked. The five-time WSOP bracelet winner took this opportunity to move all in for his last 1,925. This bet induced a fold and Cunningham was pushed the pot. He's now sitting on about 4,200 in chips.

Smith Survives

Nível 2 : 25/50, 0 ante

We found Gavin Smith and an opponent heads up on a flop of {Q-Hearts}{7-Spades}{4-Diamonds}. By the time we arrived at the table, we saw Smith move all in for around 1,200 over the top of a bet of 400 from his opponent. His opponent called and the hands were turned on their backs.

Smith: {8-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{3-Clubs}
Opponent: {K-Spades}{J-Spades}{10-Hearts}{8-Hearts}

Smith was out in front with a set of sevens and kept the lead through the {3-Diamonds} turn and the {6-Hearts} river. He secured himself a double up and now sits just over starting stack with around 3,200 in chips.

ODB Raises and Takes

Nível 2 : 25/50, 0 ante

World Series of Poker bracelet winner David "ODB" Baker is one of the many familiar faces in the starting field today. Baker, who won his bracelet in the $2,500 8-Game Event in 2012, comes into this series hoping to add a second piece of jewelry to his collection.

We found Baker looking down at a flop of {10-Spades}{3-Spades}{3-Diamonds} with two opponents. The first player to act checked and the second tossed out 400. Baker made it 1,000 to go and the first player let go of his cards. After some pondering, Baker's opponent also tossed his cards away and the bracelet winner was pushed the pot.

Williamson Makes Full House

Nível 2 : 25/50, 0 ante

We arrived at the table to find three players including Robert Williamson III commit 800 each before the flop. The dealer fanned {j-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{5-Clubs} on the felt and both players checked over to Williamson on the button. He moved all in for his last 875 and his first opponent called. The third player in the hand thought for a moment but ultimately decided to release his hand.

Williamson: {9-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}
Opponent: {K-Clubs}{J-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}

The board completed with the {8-Diamonds} on the turn and the {6-Hearts} on the river, giving Williamson a winning full house of sixes full of fives. He raked in the pot and finds new life in this tournament with a stack of roughly 4,200.
