War of the Four Kings

Nível 8 : 300/600, 0 ante

A player opened for a raise and got three-bet by Dan Buzgon, who in turn got shoved on by Nick Kallenbach on the button for less. The original raiser folded.

Buzgon: {k-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{j-Spades}{j-Diamonds}
Kallenbach: {a-Spades}{k-Clubs}{k-Spades}{7-Spades}

The flop came {3-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{3-Clubs}, and a chop looked imminent as both players played their kings. The {6-Hearts} hit the turn, and Buzgon wiggled his jacks in hopes of spiking a set. Instead, the {a-Clubs} hit the river, giving Kallenbach aces and the pot.

Walker Check-Raises Billirakis

Nível 8 : 300/600, 0 ante

Danny Walker bet out 2,500 after a {3-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{q-Clubs} flop, and Steve Billirakis called on the button. The {q-Spades} paired the board, and Walker checked. Billirakis bet 3,500, and Walker quickly check-raised to about 7,500. Billirakis folded just as fast.

Rosenberg Backdoors a Straight

Nível 8 : 300/600, 0 ante

We didn't see the action, but Jason Rosenberg just doubled up with {a-Spades}{j-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} when he backdoored a straight on a {2-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{7-Spades}{9-Hearts} board against an opponent whose {10-Hearts}{10-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} had a straight with a flush draw on the turn.

Smith Spikes an Ace

Nível 8 : 300/600, 0 ante

Daniel Negreanu opened for a raise and was called by one player, and action folded to Dan Smith in the big blind. He repotted, and Negreanu folded. The original caller decided to go ahead and get it in with Smith, and Smith's {a-}{k-}{q-}{4-} doubled through when he spiked an ace against the red kings of his opponent.

Smith counts $6 million in live tournament cashes among his accomplishments, but he's still seeking his first World Series of Poker bracelet.
