Ryan Laplante raised to 9,000 from his seat in early position only to see a new comer to the table, Daniel Strelitz, three-bet to 23,500 from the next seat across. The other players folded back around to Laplante who stuck in a raise to 42,000. Strelitz took a look at his cards before calling the additional 18,500.

A king-high flop saw Laplante lead for 25,000 and Strelitz quickly released his hand.

Laplante turned over for complete air and raked in a nice, chunky pot.
