Cantu and Kessler Can't Sort it Out

Nível 10 : 400/800, 100 ante

We walked up to the action and Brandon Cantu all in preflop, arguing with Allen Kessler about who should turn their cards over first. "Are you guys being serious right now," a frustrated Greg Mueller asked.

Eventually, Kessler tabled, {6-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} and Cantu turned over {a-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}. The board ran out {k-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{9-Spades}{a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds} and Cantu doubled. The discussion continued and Cantu called the floor for a proper description of the rule.

The floor came, but before he could interject, we had another hand on our hands. A player from middle position raised to 2,100 and Greg Mueller called from the small blind. Brandon Cantu quickly pushed all in from the big blind and the original raiser folded.

Mueller thought for a while before eventually giving up what he claimed were pocket eights as Cantu turned up the {a-Hearts} and dragged the pot.
