Jon Turner got scooped by Konstantin Puchkov before and was left with next to no chips. He was all in after third and Robert Mizrachi as well as the Russian called. The Russian kept betting until sixth while showing a set of tens and then him and Mizrachi, who showed four hearts, checked.

Puchkov didn't have a full house nor did Mizrachi have a flush, but the hand of the Russian was good enough to scoop the pot and knock out Turner.
Shortly after George Danzer we lose the next golden bracelet winner of the WSOP 2014 in Vanessa Selbst. She already tried to get it in against a short stack on the big blind but they chopped the pot. Then she made it three bets to 12,000 from the cutoff and Jan Erik Sorensen as initial raiser called.
On the flop, Sorensen kept betting and did so again after the turn. Selbst didn't have many chips left and was all in for just above a big bet of 8,000. Sorensen made the call and turned over for the low and nut flush. Selbst showed for two pair and the river provided no help.
The mixed game specialist from Germany, George Danzer, has been eliminated. He was rather short and had half of his stack in pre flop with and saw a flop to draw to the nut low. He was called by and turn as well as river blanked out to avoid a chop.

We caught the action on sixth street when Robert Mizrachi bet, Konstantin Puchkov folded, and Mike "The Mouth" Matusow raised all in. Mizrachi called with a wheel and Matusow was in big trouble.
"I need a heart," he said before the dealer dealt seventh. "It's read," he said as he squeezed it out.

Just like the great and powerul Oz did for the Tinman, Matusow was granted a heart to extend his tournament life.
We are down to 40 players already. Daniel Makowsky ran out of chips and Thomas Butzhammer did so as well with pocket tens. Another opponent had tens as well and Joe Tehan looked them both up with the showing and as down cards. Tehan ended up with aces but the other player made tens and sevens to scoop the pot and bust Butzhammer.
Vanessa Selbst brought it in with the showing and a short-stacked Chris Reslock moved in for 2,500 total. Erik Seidel then raised to 6,500, Jan Erik Sorensen called, and Selbst got out of the way. Seidel and Sorensen both checked fourth, and then the latter folded to a bet of 8,000 from the former on fifth.

Seidel had a lot of outs headed to seventh, but he blanked. That allowed Reslock to increase his stack with queens and fours.
We didn't see the action because the cards were already rushed away but Joseph Aronesty got chopped up by Humberto Brenes (low) and Owais Ahmed (high). Only one hand later, short stack bubble miracle Thomas Beckstead was sent to the rail as well.
