Stud

Jeff Madsen began the day as the chip leader, and he has remained a powerful player throughout Day 2 as well. Just now, Madsen won two decently-sized pots to move to 230,000 in chips. Both occurred during the round of stud at his table.

Madsen: {X-}{X-} / {K-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} / {X-}
Leah: {X-}{X-} / {Q-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{A-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} / {X-}

Picking up the action in this first hand on sixth street, Madsen fired a bet and Mike Leah was in the tank. After a minute, Leah called, and then each player received his final card. Madsen bet, and Leah called.

Madsen showed {K-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}{2-Spades} and stated that he began with rolled up kings. Leah mucked, and Madsen won the pot.

Tommy Hang: {X-}{X-} / {8-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{Q-Hearts} / {X-}
Sebastien Sabic: {X-}{X-} / {3-Diamonds}fold
Madsen: {X-}{X-} / {9-Spades}{A-Clubs}{J-Hearts}{J-Clubs} / {X-}

On this second hand, Sabic had to bring in with the {3-Diamonds} up, and then Madsen completed the bet. Hang raised, Sabic folded, and Mdsen called.

On fourth street, both players checked to see fifth, which is where Madsen led with a bet. Hang called. On sixth, after Madsen paired his jack, Hang folded to a bet, and Madsen won the pot.
