Dimitar Danchev finished runner-up to Alex Bolotin in the $1,500 No-Limit Hold'em Shootout last week, but wont be making a return trip to the final table.

As recapped to us by Bronstein, Danchev's {A-}{K-} fell to Bronstein's {10-Spades}{10-Hearts} after the final board read {10-Clubs}{4-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}.

When we happened upon Table 359, we discovered Erik Seidel with 17,500 out in front of him. Meanwhile, Daniel Alaei had 29,000 out front. Seidel was debating what to do, and eventually moved all in for right around 120,000. Alaei, who barely had him covered, snap-called.

Alaei: {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs}

It was a bad spot for Seidel, and his best shot of winning was to catch either an ace or diamonds. The {2-Spades}{9-Clubs}{3-Clubs} flop made the diamonds a mute point, and the {J-Diamonds} turn meant Seidel needed an ace on the river to survive. The dealer burned one last time and put out the {Q-Diamonds}, the last card Seidel would see here in Event #20: $3,000 No-Limit Hold'em Shootout.

Newman Continues to Dominate Table 356

With around 9,000 in the pot and a board reading {9-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{q-Diamonds}, Phil Galfond checked from the big blind and Stewart Newman bet 3,200 from the button. Galfond responded with an all-in check-raise to 25,000 total, and Newman didn't like it.

"I had a feeling you might do that," he admitted. He then hit the tank for a couple of minutes. "It's really close," he added a few moments before folding.

Abou Risk Tries to Put Galfond At Risk

It seems both Phil Galfond and Nick Abou Risk were able to take a few chips from Stewart Newman since the last time we visited Table 356, and the two just locked horns in a pot.

We caught the action on a {5-Spades}{q-Clubs}{a-Spades} flop when Galfond checked from the small blind and Abou Risk bet 2,500. Galfond made the call and then checked again when the {8-Diamonds} appeared on the turn. Abou Risk bet again, this time 6,600, but he couldn't shake Galfond. When the {3-Hearts} completed the board on the river, Galfond checked for a third time and Abou Risk moved all in for right around 35,000.

That time it worked as Galfond sent his cards to the dealer.
