Brave Move By Pescatori Doesn't Work Out

Nível 11 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

With just four tables remaining in the field and the money bubble approaching, tense times are upon the remaining competitors in the field. Razz is one of those games where players can grind and grind down to a very few amount of chips, and that's exactly what Brandon Cantu and Max Pescatori were left to work with after the following hand against Eli Elezra.

Elezra: (X-X) / {9-}{5-}{K-}{10-} / (X)
Pescatori: (X-X) / {9-}{8-}{J-}{J-} / (X)
Cantu: (X-X) / {9-}{4-}fold

Picking up the action on fourth street, Cantu checked, and Elezra fired a bet. Pescatori called, and Cantu folded. On fifth street, Pescatori had the best hand showing and led with a bet.

"Woah! That's very brave of you, Max," exclaimed Elezra from across the table before making the call.

On sixth street, Elezra bet, and Pescatori called after pairing up. On seventh, Elezra bet, and Pescatori folded.
