Mosseri Busts Hellmuth and Smith

Nível 12 : 1,000/2,000, 500 ante
Phil Hellmuth (Razz final table) - Eliminated
Phil Hellmuth (Razz final table) - Eliminated

"I'm all in," Phil Hellmuth announced from under the gun, committing his last 19,500.

Justin "Boosted J" Smith asked for a count before re-shoving on his direct left, and Abe Mosseri also moved all in out of the small blind.

Mosseri stood pat, Hellmuth drew two, revealing the {10-Clubs}, and Smith drew one.

Mosseri: {9-}{8-}{4-}{3-}{2-}
Hellmuth: {7-}{6-}{2-}
Smith: {7-}{5-}{3-}{2-}

Hellmuth turned over his first card - the {9-Clubs} - and he was drawing live to a superior nine low. He started to sweat his final card and was excited to see that it had no sides, but when he discovered that it was a diamond he knew he was drawing dead because both the {2-Diamonds} and the {3-Diamonds} were laying face up on the felt.

The 13-time bracelet winner unhappily turned over the {a-Diamonds}, and Smith quickly revealed paint; the {q-Diamonds}. Both players hit the rail, while Mosseri chipped up to 143,000.

Pat Ninety-Eight for Porter

Nível 12 : 1,000/2,000, 500 ante

Darren Elias opened the action with a raise to 5,000 and it folded around to Rep Porter who cut out a three-bet to 14,000. Action came back to Elias who went into the tank. After about 45 seconds, Elias reached into his stack and moved forward a four-bet to 29,000. Porter called.

For the draw, Porter knocked the table, signifying that he was pat. Elias took one card and Porter checked over to him. Elias checked back and Porter rolled over {9-}{8-}{7-}{6-}{2-} for the win.

Volpe Picks Off Hall

Nível 11 : 800/1,600, 400 ante

Barry Greenstein opened with a raise to 4,500 and found calls from Paul Volpe in the small blind and Galen Hall in the big blind. On the draw, Volpe took one card, Hall two, and Greenstein one.

Volpe checked and Hall dropped forward 13,200. Greenstein quickly ditched his hand and Volpe went into the tank.

"You could be bluffing," said Volpe as he stared down Hall

"My reputation precedes me," replied Hall, flashing a smile.

Volpe flung out a call and Hall immediately threw his cards into the muck. Volpe showed {10-}{9-}{5-}{4-}{2-} for the win and scooped up the pot.

Wright Jumps Into Chip Lead

Nível 11 : 800/1,600, 400 ante

Darren Elias was under the gun and made it 4,000 to go. Bob Bright called from the cutoff and action folded over to Larry Wright in the big blind. Wright wasted little time cutting out a three-bet to 12,000. Elias called and Bright ditched his hand.

For the draw, Wright stood pat and Elias drew one new card. Wright checked and Elias waited about twenty seconds before checking it back. Wright fanned {10-}{7-}{5-}{4-}{3-} for a ten-low which was enough to scoop the pot. Wright now sits on the biggest stack in the room with about 150,000 in chips.

Porter Doubles, Schulman and Mizrachi Fall

Nível 11 : 800/1,600, 400 ante
Nick Schulman - Eliminated
Nick Schulman - Eliminated

Shawn Sheikhan raised to 4,200 from under the gun and Rep Porter three-bet all in over the top for 24,400. Nick Schulman moved all in for less from the next seat over for roughly 11,000 total. Action folded back around to Sheikhan and he announced a call.

Sheikhan drew one card, Porter stood pat, and Schulman opted for one as well.

Porter instantly tabled his pat seventy-six with {7-}{6-}{5-}{4-}{2-}.

"Shit," sighed Sheikhan, showing {8-}{7-}{4-}{2-}.

Schulman showed {8-}{6-}{3-}{2-} and was also drawing dead against Porter's made hand. Schulman's hand finished off with a {J-} and Sehikhan's with an {a-}, finalizing Porter's domination in this hand. Schulman was eliminated from play and Porter score more than a double up to boost his stack to about 65,000.

Simultaneously, at the next table over, Michael Mizrachi was eliminated from play by Brian Rast.
