Negreanu pulled one new card while Mercier stood pat. Negreanu led for 75,000 and Mercier called. Negreanu showed which was good enough to take down the pot.
Hand #40: Negreanu opened his button to 45,000. Volpe moved all in over the top from the big blind and it folded back to Negreanu who kicked his cards in as well.

Hand #42: Paul Volpe made it 32,000 from the button before Larry Wright moved all in from the small blind for 245,000 with Volpe making the call.

Hand #47: Volpe made it 32,000 from the button and Negreanu called from the big blind. Both players picked up one new card at the draw. Negreanu checked, Volpe bet 125,000, and Negreanu folded his cards.

Volpe slid out a check-raise to 218,000, putting Mercier deep into the tank. After about a minute, Mercier dropped his hand into the muck. Volpe showed and raked the pot, extending his chip lead.
