O'Dwyer Busted. Salsberg Advances.

Nível 6 : 300/600, 75 ante

Steve O'Dwyer's fortunes have reversed since we last checked in on his heads-up battle with Matt Salsberg. We came to the table on the river, with the board showing {5-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{q-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}. O'Dwyer had bet 1600 on the button, but Salsberg had check-raised, and O'Dwyer went deep into the tank deciding whether to call for his last 7,000. After thinking for about 3 minutes, he reluctantly folded his hand.

O'Dwyer shoved all-in on the very next hand, and Salsberg snap-called with {k-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}. O'Dwyer turned over {q-Spades}{7-Spades} and was in bad shape. The board ran out {q-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{k-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}, giving Salsberg the pot. O'Dwyer has been eliminated and Salsberg will continue play in round 2 tomorrow.

Ramdin Advances, Back To Back Cashes

Nível 6 : 300/600, 75 ante

We saw Victor Ramdin bagging up chips and he was kind enough to inform us about the last hand of the match. His opponent moved all in with {Q-}{J-} and Ramdin made the call with {K-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}.

Ramdin flopped a deuce and turned a deuce for the knock out and locked up his second cash in a row after he cashed in "The Millionaire Maker" yesterday.

Campanello Heads Up

Nível 6 : 300/600, 75 ante

Earlier we told you about how Bryan Campanello rivered quads to knock a player out of the tournament. Well it looks like he's running good because now he's heads up with a chip lead.

We caught Campanello play one hand against his heads up opponent. Preflop the player on the button raised to 1,200. Campanello made the call from the big blind.

The flop came [6d10c2] and Campanello bet out 1,700. His opponent raised to 3,300 and Campanello made the call.

The turn was the {10-Spades} and Campanello continued betting out, this time to 4,850. His opponent called.

The river fell the {A-Clubs} and Campanello bet out for a third time, this time worth 7,300. His opponent went into the tank and eventually called, but mucked when Campanello showed {10-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}.

Intense Heads Up Battle

Nível 6 : 300/600, 75 ante

Steve O'Dwyer and Matthew Salsberg were among the first in the room to get heads up at their table. While a lot of other tables have been completed, O'Dwyer and Salsberg are still going at it. A while ago Salsberg had a substantial lead, but O'Dwyer has chipped away at it and has almost pulled even.
