Event #7: $1,000 No-Limit Hold'em
Dia 1 Iniciado
There's more than plenty of No-Limit Hold'em to be played this summer. Yesterday we had the inaugural "Millionaire Maker" tournament which broke all records. A lot of people started but only some of them made it through to day 2. All other players can give it a go again today, as we have a $1,000 tournament starting at 12:00.
In about an hour we'll start dealing cards again and PokerNews.com will bring you coverage all day. Will we see a Royal Flush again like we did yesterday, will we see quads beat quads again? Check back in an hour and follow our reporting from the first card being pitched till the last chip goes into the bag.
We'll be playing 11 sixty minute levels today, with a 20 minute break after every two levels. The dinner break will give the players 90 minutes to find a good food option and will occur after level 6.

Tony Dunst is seated right in front of the media desk, so we'll keep a close eye on him all day.
Dunst is one of the players featured in the upcoming BET RAISE FOLD documentary film which will have it's premiere right here in Vegas June 12th. The guys behind the film, Jay Rosenkrantz, Ryan Firpo and Taylor Caby, have launched a Kickstarter recently which might deserve a minute of your attention.

Just last year Antonio Esfandiari won the The Big One for One Drop, a tournament with a buy-in of $1 million. Esfandiari walked away with $18,346,673 after defeating Sam Trickett heads up.
Today Esfandiari is playing a tournament with a $1,000 buy-in. He could play 18,346 of these tournaments with the money he made in The Big One last year. Esfandiari has a bracelet bet with Jason Mercier so that might be the reason he's at it today. Or he's just crazy about poker, that's also a possibility.
Read about Mercier's and Esfandiari's bet on the PokerNews homepage.

We have again a couple of bracelet winners (Gathy, Cunningham, Seiver, Parker, Liebert, Dempsey), known players notoriously without a bracelet (Rettenmaier, Glantz), a Team Online pro (Schleger), and many others. Scott Seiver is at the same table as Justin Bonomo, talk about a tough draw in an event like this.

According to the tournament clock we now have 1,443 in the field. Registration is still open though so we expect this number to increase as we progress.
Action folded to the cutoff who raised to 50 and David Vamplew, in the small blind, was the only caller.
Vamplew checked raised to 200 on the flop. After some table talk, the cutoff when all in for his remaining 900 which prompted a quick fold from Vamplew.
While Vamplew may have lost this pot, he has about doubled his starting stack.
