They Aren't Buying It

A player raised from early position to 1,700 and Jake Balsiger reraised to 4,500 from the button. The other player checked to Balsinger on the {6-Spades}{10-Spades}{7-Spades} flop. The spades didn't scare Balsiger though, as he bet 3,300. His opponent called the bet and the {6-Diamonds} turn was dealt. Both players checked and then came the {k-Clubs} river. The other player checked and Balsiger bet 84,000. His opponent called. Balsiger tabled without hesitation the {a-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} while his opponent took the pot with {j-Spades}{j-Diamonds}.

The very next hand, action folded to Balsiger in the cutoff and he raised to 2,000. The player on the button made it 57,500 to go and after the blinds folded, Balsiger folded as well.

At the start of the previous hand, Balsinger was up to near 50,000 and he has lost some the last few hand.s

Baumann Busto

Gaelle Baumann
Gaelle Baumann

There wont be a second deep run for Gaelle Baumann here in the Main Event.

Baumann was sitting on a relatively short stack for most of the day and just recently she lost it all. According to another reporter, Baumann moved all in holding {K-}{J-} and she was called by another players {A-}{7-}. The board bricked out for Baumann and that put an end to her 2013 World Series of Poker where she only cashed once in Event #44: $3,000 No Limit Hold'em for $7,287

Raghavan Takes Three-Bet Pot

Ravi Raghavan raised to 1,700 from middle position, and a player in the cutoff bumped it to 4,000. Raghavan called.

The flop came {8-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{4-Clubs}, and Raghavan check-called 3,500. Both players checked through the {4-Diamonds} turn, and Raghavan blasted 20,000 on the river. His opponent folded, and Raghavan has compiled a very respectable stack.
