Trickett Lets It Go

Nível 3 : 150/300, 0 ante
Sam Trickett
Sam Trickett

Sam Trickett opened to 600 from middle position, and was called by both players in the blinds. The flop came down {2-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{9-Hearts}, and the action was checked to Trickett, who threw out a continuation bet of 1,050. The player in the small blind bumped it up to 3,100, as the big blind got out of the way. Trickett looked over at his opponent stack, and after thinking about his decision, opted to release his hand.

Terry Gets There

Nível 3 : 150/300, 0 ante

The {9-Spades}{2-Spades}{a-Clubs} flop and the {4-Clubs} turn was already dealt and Sam Farha had 1,200 in front of him. The player on the button raised to 3,600 and Todd Terry called from early position as did Farha. All three players checked the {j-Spades} river and Terry turned over {j-Hearts}{j-Clubs} for a rivered set.

Green and Yellow

Nível 3 : 150/300, 0 ante

Here are some counts from the green and yellow sections of the Pavilion room:

Small One for Yang

Nível 3 : 150/300, 0 ante

Action folded to Jerry Yang in the hijack and he raised to 750. The button called, the blinds folded and it was heads-up action to the flop, which came down the {10-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{9-Spades}. Yang was first to act and fired out a single yellow T1,000 chip, and it was enough to get the job done as his opponent on the button folded.

It wasn't much of a hand but it gave us a good excuse to update you on the 2007 WSOP Main Event champ.

Lehr Exits

Nível 3 : 150/300, 0 ante

We approached just as Lehr was getting up to leave the table. The board read {6-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{2-Spades}{3-Spades} and Jimmy Tran's {10-Spades}{10-Hearts} was showing as the winning hand. When asked what Lehr had, a player at the table responded with {k-Clubs}{j-Clubs}. Another player at the table said, "at least now we can play poker", in reference to the fact that Lehr had been playing aggressively.

Nível 3 : 150/300, 0 ante

Christian Harder check-called a bet of 1,600 on a flop of {j-Spades}{j-Clubs}{5-Spades}{4-Clubs}. The turn was the {5-Hearts}, Harder check-called one last bet of 4,200, and the player showed {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts} for jacks full of fives.

Harder mucked, leaving himself with around 24,000 chips.

Schneider Can't Crack Kings

Nível 3 : 150/300, 0 ante

Tom Schneider, winner of two bracelets at the 2013 World Series of Poker, raised to 825 in middle position. The action folded to a player in the big blind, who called, and the flop fell {7-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}. The player checked, Schneider continued for 1,100, and the player check-raised to 2,500. Schneider called.

The turn was the {6-Diamonds}, the player fired out another 2,500, and Schneider called. Both players checked when the {2-Hearts} completed the board.

The player turned over {k-Clubs}{k-Spades} for a pair of kings, and Schneider studied the hand for a bit before mucking.
