Hand #36: DeSilva opened for 225,000 from early position, and Kelly defended his big blind. After a flop of , Kelly checked to the raiser, and DeSilva continued with a bet of 190,000. The curiously small bet aroused Kelly's suspicions, and he slid his cards to the dealer.
Hand #37: Gray raised to 250,000 from the hijack, and Bennington came along from the big blind. Both players checked when the flop fell , but the on the turn prompted a bet of 200,000 by Bennington. Gray pumped it up to 600,000, however, and the bet moved Bennington off of his hand.
