Henry Tran raised to 1,275 from early position, and Liv Boeree reraised to 2,700 from the hijack. Everyone folded to Tran, who made the call.

"I check to you, because you're a nice lady," he said.

Boeree wasn't playing nice after the {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} flopped, as she fired 3,100. Tran thought for about a minute before sliding his hand to the dealer.

Meanwhile, Dan Owen, who finished third in the $2,500 No-Limit Hold'em tournament yesterday for more than $300,000, got all in with {a-Hearts}{4-Hearts} at another table. He was flipping against {3-Clubs}{3-Hearts}, but he found no help on the {j-Spades}{k-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{8-Spades} community.

Liu Overflushes One

Nível 9 : 300/600, 75 ante

In one of the last hands before break, we found Ping Liu in the aftermath of an all in with the board reading {4-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{6-Spades}. Liu had the {j-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} in front of him for a flopped flush, while his opponent had {10-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} for a lower flush.

The dealer counted out the stacks, and Liu had his opponent covered. He's now up to 36,100, courtesy of the hand known in some circles as "the Zatch."
